Это шедевр. Каждая полоска дамасской стали даёт мысли воображению.
Вначале на нож хочется смотреть а затем резать.
Магия какая-то!
You have some serious skills. That is a knife to be proud of. Hope you sold it for a very good price
Its still in my drawer somewhere. Im horrible at sales. I dont even offer or forget to set them up for sale. As soon as im done with one video im on to the next and forget about everything else.
It turned out really nice. I like how you were able to maintain the aesthetic of the rolls all the way to the finished piece.
Not sure how i did that but it happened 🤣 except for the tip but thats from so much forging. Thanks for watching.
What a beauty! Wasn’t sure I liked the pattern at first but the closer it came to completion the more it was reaching out to me 🤘🏻 Job well done sir!!!
Thanks. Glad you liked it
You should make a store page where you can sell your knives. I would totally buy that.
Thank you. Once i get my shit together ill have some cool stuff for sale. Im happy you like it tho.
So bad ass!! Killer work bro
Thank you
Glad you pushed through on this one, it really shows the time you put into it.
Thank you. Im trying to put more time into work and make pieces im more proud of instead of rushing just to get a video out.
Believe me, it shows!@@JPsBladeworks
BRO!!! ₩0₩ THAT IS BEAUTIFUL.
I've been here from the beginning, I think I was 115 sub and I am super impressed with your progress, I hope you are as well.
You have come a long way my friend
If i wasnt improving that would be a problem 😅 i appreciate the support
@@JPsBladeworks You were good when you first started posting videos... you have become an incredible artist...
@@rvsbladesnthangs Now your just being nice. My first builds were horrible. I couldnt give them away 🤣 I randomly open a drawer and i see a knife and cant even remember when i made it since its been with me so long.
Nice job once again. Your getting more consistent at making each blade better than the last and thats doing things you've never done before. Keep doing what your doing!
Thank you. I like to try new things and learn new skills.
Very cool knife. I'll say this a out ya ,you definitely aren't afraid to take chances. When I watched the video of you making this billet I was thinking "this bad boy might be for the scrap pile" you pulled it off though. Anything in the billet making process you would change to get more usable material next time.
Id take more time on thr rolling process. I feel i rolled well at rhe begining but towards the end of the roll i wasnt getting it as nice and tight as i was at the start. Maybe make a jig to help me. As well as tapering the end piece so i get a nice clean transition when the billet is fully welded so it doents have an thick piece sticking out of the top when its all rolled.
@JPsBladeworks yea I was wondering what caused that pattern at the tip. I'm curious to see what ya come up with as a jig if you make one. Anyways I like your videos and your always sticking your neck out. Keep up the good work.
@@TheMotownPhilly Thanks the tip was like that because i forged the tip and bevels in so it pulled the steel in the tip thats why its made of only 3 layers and bold. Idealy i would have forged it to shape but kept a uniform thickness then ground to to get a more consistent pattern but unfortunately i didnt have enough steel so i had to forge it out more than i would like. But the knife is stupid light.
Very nice piece JP! I think your work gets better with every piece you make congrats young man!
Thank you. I try my best
What an awesome job you did on the knife and thanks for sharing the video ..
Thanks for taking time and watching
You got yourself a new subscriber buddy. That is the best looking knife I have ever seen!
Thank you. I appreciate the kind words 🙏
Very cool blade dude. Really nice forging too. Like others have commented, I was skeptical after watching the last video when you made the billet. I think this turned out great! Thanks for sharing! 🤙
Believe me when i say i was also very skeptical but i managed to get a workable knife out of it.
Now thats a blade i have never seen before, I imagine what it would look like with copper in the Jellyroll Damascus?
Interesting thought. Dont know if i got the skills for that yet but i would like to try someday.
Great blade. Sweet pattern
Thanks. Im glad it came out nice. And its an extremely light knife.
You have done a great work. The knife looks beautiful 👏👏
