  • I bought a $24.99 Damascus Knife From Ebay I was Shocked With What I Received.
Today I Review a Damascus knife I bought from eBay. It Was "handmade, damascus, custom knife." I honestly wasn't ready for this knife knife and it definitely wasn't something I expected. I also had all sorts of problems with the review.😡

The steel making up the Damascus came from pieces of a bus that drove off a cliff in India. 27 of the 437 passengers died.
The Pakistani that built the knife obtained the scrap steel pieces via a barter for a quart of goat milk. He shaped it holding it between his toes while sitting in a dirt stall in 110 degree heat.
His net profit was $1.00 for the finished knife.

What you have there is a $24 Damascus Safety Stabber with a Nice Sheath. As for the thick and thin scales, look at your hand when holding the knife. On one side, the meaty palm of your hand is touching the handle. On the other, the bony fingers maintain contact. It is up to you to decide which thickness scale works best. A custom choice. And you don't have to worry about cutting anything.

I had to take an Uber to get to the Ocean when the driver totaled the car we were in by going through a red light, thankfully all I had was a couple of fractured fingers. the driver had a broken arm and nose and the other driver luckily had no seat belt and only went through the windshield with minor cuts and bruises. I took the Uber because yesterday I get out of the grocery store only to see my car demolished by a stoned driver. Glad I was in the store when this happened and not in the car. ---- So, yeah.....I needed a good laugh and you definitely came through. --- Take care and keep on making vids.

Polish a bit of steel, apply coats of french polish, scratch out the grooves you want, dunk in acid.. This is how patterned armour was made. Some of which is magnificent. Put some black muck on the etched areas. Black fingers will do after grinding in the workshop.

This post is very old but for any wary buyers Pakistani made Damascus it is nothing more than weld pattern Steel. It is basically a coating, plated Damascus if you will. If it ever breaks Ergo gets wet and rusts to where it breaks it will peel off of the steel underneath just like dead skin

I got something like that one, mine was Dumbasskiss also. Mine was about the same in thickness about 3/16", but the handle was slightly more symmetrical, the sheath was worse, 20 bucks though, I bought mine sometime in 2017. It took about 2 weeks to sharpen also. Which is odd as it doesn't hold an edge well. One thing is for certain, for 25 dollars, it is an interesting compilation of everything that you Shouldn't do in knife making, in which case it's a steal to have all those errors in one handy place.
