  • Today you will learn one of the most simple, powerful and game changing things you can do to improve your golf. What's awesome about this golf advice is it will just take a few minutes of your time and works with every golf club in your bag
I call it "Apposing the Force". Kids do it naturally which is why they improve so quickly. Adults almost never do it which is why they find it so difficult to strike their irons solid or hit their driver straight. What's great for you however is that to achieve it will require just on change in your golf swing.
Once you learn the feeling of it you can use the same golf tip for your driver, irons, chipping and putting.
I guarantee you will begin to see and feel improvement in your golf swing and your overall golf game.
    PRACTICE PLAN

    ABOUT DANNY
    -----------------------
Thanks for stopping by. I created this website as a resource just for you to support you on your golfing journey as I know how tricky learning this game can be…to say the least!
I personally found learning the game too long and difficult in the early days. I read all the books, watched all the videos but my game was not improving. Then after studying various forms of neuro science, motor learning, psychology and personal development in less than two years I went from struggling golfer to the final stage of the Open Championship.
On CZcams and my personal website (www.dannymaude.com) I will bring you the most up to date training, training that is getting tangible results for my clients right now. I don’t know where you are in your golfing journey, you could be just starting out or maybe your body isn’t as flexible as it once was or you’ve got ambitions to slash your handicap. Wherever you are I’ve created a place here you can learn, share your ideas, ask questions and get all the support you need to enjoy this great game.
Be prepared though. If its a quick fix you are after Im not your man. Here I will give you step-by-step advice that you can take straight to the practice ground and apply to the course but it will require you to get stuck in, screw up…a lot, practice some more and then watch those scores tumble
I’ve had the pleasure of coaching thousands of students all around the world and if you are up for the challenge and are ready to get in the game…LETS GO TO WORK!

I am 75 years old, a 7 handicapper and I still shot in the seventies on most of my rounds. I have played this game for about 50 years, never taken a lesson, but read about a golf and watch videos a lot. Danny is the easiest instructor I have ever watch. He keeps it simple, understandable, and well within any golfers ability. He is the only instructor I watch now. Thanks for your videos.

Dude I am a 71 year old man that picked up golf some 6 months ago. I totally sucked at it.
I may have gotten 4-6 good shots per 18 holes and can't tell you the amount of balls I used to lose. So I have looked at some of your videos and nothing really clicked. However, this video was absolutely amazing for me. I watched this video 4 or 5 times and practicing your drills.
I am going to call it a miracle because I went out today and actually played golf. I only got 9 holes in because of the weather. However, It felt magnificent! I have never hit the ball better, felt good hitting it and totally enjoyed the results.
I had 3 birdies, 3pars, one bogie and 2 double bogies. I hope this will continue as I know how fickle this game can be but even if I fall apart again I wanted to thank you for helping enjoy golf for the first time in my life. Thank you Thank you Thank you

So often we get caught up in the minutiae of mechanics. This is a great lesson to remind yourself how a swing should naturally work and feel. Thanks 🙏🏼 for this! I’ve often thought younger golfers have great looking swings and this is no doubt why. They’re more “forced” to use their big muscles and centripetal force to generate speed in their swing.

This was a great lesson for me, Danny!! I only practiced it for 10 minutes on the range and then took that one swing thought to the course. Used it on every shot. Lots of greens in regulation and furthest approach to pins was only 30 ft, with most under 20 ft. No 3 putts, shot 75 and I’m an 8 handicap! I normally have too many thoughts in my head, so this simplicity is key for me! Thanks again! I’m watching it all again right now!! You are the best!!

Once again, such a simple idea to remember & put into practice with every club in the bag. From the front-on angles, it is clear to see how the club 'drops' when you 'oppose the force'!

Letting the club head do the "work". Great lesson.
I find that a good swing thought is that you want the centre of mass in the club head (the sweet spot) to go through the ball. Helps focus on strike and seems to relax the body and allow the club to do the work of displacing the ball as mentioned.

That is one awesome lesson Danny. I just grabbed a club and started doing this and OMG, My swing feels SO much smoother. This is an easy one to remember as well.

Great video man I’m excited to go to the practice green and apply this to chipping in the rough. Sounds like I’m having the same problem your friend had. Ball is going nowhere when I chip outta long grass

Danny, as always, its so easy the way you explain it. I've been building my swing from several of your tutorials and i'm so enjoying it on the course. When i win the lottery I'm coming down for some more lessons. Keep it up...

This may well be the single best video I’ve ever watched on CZcams.
Stumbled across the channel as was looking for beginner golf tips, and when I say beginner I mean yesterday was my first trip up to the local range and my first time even swinging a golf club since my youth.
The thing is, when at the range I hit a few good drives and iron shots, but late on in the session I noticed that the best of my shots were when I felt I was ‘loose’ with the club. I wasn’t even sure I knew what I meant by ‘loose’ with the club tbh, I just knew it was I was less stiff in my actions…. That was until I watched this video! Now it makes sense.
Absolutely brilliant. I’ve got my first actual round on a 9 hole par 3 coming up, so will be trying to put this into practice.

I belong to ForeHope in Columbus, Ohio, a program that serves neurological problems. I had a stroke almost 8 years ago. I swing the club with my left handed. I used to play right handed before my stroke. My golf pro, Brian Lawson , (who serves as a volunteer) says that all the time. Thanks for the visual strategy on this for all clubs. Keep up the good work.

Use of the irons was very similar to the action you recommended with the 1 2 3 pressure on the feet you put up previously which worked a treat!

Great stuff, Danny. I now know that I am not doing this properly on those key second shots on 9 and 18. I’ve been trying to swing using my upper body with a bad result. Thanks..

Danny, what a great lesson!! I had just figured this out for myself about my swing, but you explained it in more detail! Just what I needed! Now my shots are going straight and I'm not tugging or slicing them!! AND, now I understand why I sometimes miss those chips and hit the dreaded "lateral" shot!!!
