Looking to get started in dog agility? 🐕💨Watch this helpful video with international agility handler Anthony Clarke to learn how you can get started at home: czcams.com/video/vkxggodZzqc/video.html
It’s a perfect activity to develop bond with a dog but also good sport not only for dog but also for the handler :)

Every dog at the beginning, "Can I go, is it time, I wanna go, can I go????"
So nice to see that the dogs are excited too!
ikr xDD
Hahaha the run is so complicated that I even lost track of the animated explanation at the beginning
They have few days to learn it xd
wiktoria kohman how do you know???
Lmao so trueeeee lol
it's easier to learn once you're there and have walked it (at normal shows you have 5-10 minutes). it's not as hard to remember as you think it would be.
Me: looks at my dog.
Dog: snoring next to me
Me: sighs and continues to watch
Same here! 😂
samee xD
Me: looks back and sees cat in a weird grooming position.
Go outside and train.
Your dog wont train himself
The dogs look like they have a blast doing this
Ashleigh Calloway yes they are very Happy
Dogs love challenges.
@@davidajayi4440 did the dogs tell you that😂😂😂
Happy
Don't know how I got here... but I don't regret it a bit: these guys are amazing!
Welcome, friend!
Same thing happened to me.. and couldn't stop watching, I literally watched the whole thing lol those are some awesome dogs! 😯

I don't think I could look my dog in the eyes after he ran into the tube and out the same way that he is not a good boy.
He is ALWAYS a good boy.
I have to say when there is a mistake, it seems it is usually because of the handlers, not the dogs. Either they are slower, so the dogs don't get the next signal in time; or they are not giving clear signal to the dogs, for example by signing or being close to a barrier.
mpking1374 yes. You're right
that’s just agility for you. When I run a course it’s usually me that makes the mistake, not my dog
or they`re in the way xD you`re right
It’s always the handler when it comes to higher levels like this
Kieres Juan no lj
Who cames after shrek jumpin??
MEE 😂
Meeeeeeeeeew😂😂😂😂

all of them are very excellent doggos
border collie at 17:00 so smooth and in the zone
The handler was good at blocking that tire to send to the weaves to prevent an off course. Very good handling.
40 minutes well spent, I am so much happier now than when I started watching. These dogs are just amazing!

welp this is how im spending tonight
I love seeing the older dogs run, like Natasha Wise’s 12 yr old BC :) it really shows what amazing health they are in

Why are the bleachers always so empty? If I lived there, I would attend every year!
PenelopeDinkledong S. People travel to crufts far and wide. My college was supposed to go this year as well which takes a long time to get there as it's in another country of the UK. The problem is that there was really bad snow in Britain that day so no one could really travel outside their houses.
Yep, and it's a shame the shows (conformation) get so much attention when the real athletes (agility) don't =X
pi_beta There have been Crufts agility events when they asked the people in the bleachers to scoot over to get more people in.
they're definitely not empty, it's queuing 2h to get into the arena sometimes. this was on the sunday evening so you had to have a different ticket to get into the arena to watch it which is why it probably looks so empty. but on satuday afternoon there is no space.
I didn't set out to watch this today but it turned out to be the single best sporting event I've seen for a long time. Just awesome! So much respect to all the competitors and organisers.

33:45 MY GOD, TWO *HUNDREDTHS* OF A SECOND BETWEEN FIRST AND SECOND, NO WAY
It's even crazier though, the announcer was wrong. It was 2 thousandths of a second, literally 2 milliseconds
It's even crazier though, the announcer got it wrong the first time. They were 2 thousandths of a second apart, 2 millisecond difference
I really like this judge...seems very fair and very kind!
I watched the animation and was so confused but by the end of this video had the whole route memorized 🤷🏼♀️
Damn... border collies are fast, literally.
Fame is just awesome. Scandal could've won it if it was faster in the weaves section.
I’m crying while watching this. Idk why, I just am. 😂
Mee too
me too xD
This is the only kind of competition in which I root for every contestant.
I could literally watch this all day
I don't care if the dogs perform perfectly. They are all GOOD DOGS no matter what.
Watching this makes me shed tears of joy...love my dogs so much😘😘😘
This was in my suggestions feed and I'm loving it! Never heard of Cruft's before....so I'm watching & listening to where each is from & im like, "No way! This is in Connecticut?! How awesome---think I'll go to next year's." (Connecticut as in USA) I'm hearing all these nearby towns I live by: Colchester, Essex, Mansfield, and more & I'm super excited, then I realize this is in the UK! I'm embarrassed for myself, but I had at good laugh at my expense! 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 Great video!
This is the good side of Crufts. There is or has been in the last years a bad side also, meaning the breeding standards and judging the best dogs in the show ring. In the past Crufts was criticised by vets because of awarding dogs that are actually not able to breed because of their exterior (e.g. English Bulldog), other breeds with too small heads and many other health problems. Very common is the German Shepherd for his sloping back, deformed hips and spines so he walks like a frog. Some others were really sick, couldn't breathe enough and such. It really was a big deal.
They insisted there are veterinary checks. I'm not sure how it works today. Seeing healthy dogs of all kinds competing like this is what we really love about dog sports.
nascarbarbie No crufts is in england uk, the NEC.
@Danielle Dewitt
That's what she said.
All the dogs are 🌟
That dog that was barking and wagging its tale like crazy you can tell it was so excited whut a good dog.
16:50 wow fantastic
Loved that one, looks like flying
These dog are amazing!Well done, that’s some amazing performances, we’ve started to give Antinol to our dog and he increased his speed, let's hope we will get to this level now!
I'm addicted to this. Dogs are amazing.
I love all the dogs and handlers it so fun to watch the dogs having fun! Good job Ashleigh Butler! Great dog you have. SO FAST!!!
Tad biased, Sullivan! Best bit of internet addiction I found today. Congratulations everyone! Thank you for the edge of my seat viewing, screaming heartily here at home. Better do some deep breathing so I can sleep after all that adreneline lol! Fabulous time. Best clean entertainment to be had. Keep it up. Look forward to seeing you all soon, thank you!
"Jim, that's all there is to it."

This is so awesome. How have I never seen this before??
Where've you been? We've been around for 127 years now!
Crufts anyways to apply for a job ??
Is it just me or do lots of the dogs miss there contacts but they don’t get faults ??
I can´t stop smiling, how they´re flying over the obstacles barking away, bless them :D
I just stumbled across this. I do not follow any kind of sports at all. Usually I find it all boring, but this....omg I was on the edge of my seat, my heart was pounding. I don't regret watching this at all.
So cool to watch. I love to see the dog's faces a few moments before starting it. Some of them look so excited :)
Fascinating to see the differences in average age and physical fitness levels between the UK handlers and the US handlers. Got to this from the Westminster 2019 competition that showed up in my CZcams suggestions.
I which there where also some other dog breeds other then collies in the big dog competition.
Diyschleichdoglover21 ditto. i've heard malinois and gsd are good at agility too.
Crufts has ABC (any but collies ) agility classes too
Border collies are the dominant breed for agility and flyball. Combination of intelligence, work drive, acceleration, deceleration and the perfect size
i feel so proud for the dogs!
I usually pick a favorite in sports but not here I verbally cheered for every doggo loudly at my phone and I don’t give a damn I love this
I love the sprint @19:57
I bet Pudsey was proud looking down on Ashleigh and Sullivan.

I'd struggle to remember the route...
Lauren and Blink!!! Best ever
This put me in such a good mood!!!! Thank God For dog shows. I love how some dogs bark as they run it loool maybe they think their owners are the ones in competition and they re showing the world how fast their human can run after them 😂😂
I love agility dogs! So neat and fast!

Woah. I don't think I'd be able to do that... Who agrees?
Soooo , exciting ! I love 💖 it ....
I love Ashley butler so much I remember seeing her on Britain’s got talent when I was younger and it inspired me to train dogs and I loved watching her show where she taught people how to train there dogs to do tricks that was on CBBC I don’t remember what it was called
hell they go
damn the dogs are so astonishing and amazing but I wish they had gotten something as a prize too! something really big they deserve it cause they`ve done the work basically even tho the trainers worked very hard
Hola.
Sería bueno ver Discdog en este gran evento.
Muchas gracias
victor daniel estupiñan contreras ,.,. Si! '-' yes
I read something that said you're dog has to be 18 months old before entering them into competition but you can start training when they are a little under a year old and I looked at it and said forget that! My 4 month old dog already knows how to tunnle and jump! haha!
The 2 Mysteries it is because young dogs are still developing so this level of exercise could be harmful to their joints
Your dog shouldn't be jumping at 4 months their joints are still developing you should wait till your dog is a year before jumping the jumps
I don't know why this made me cry, but it did. I don't even have a dog.
Very very good
I can't wait to do agility with my dog Skye! He's currentlya 2 day old border collie
It will be fun, I guess:) we're getting our Border Collie girl at the end of next month, she's currently 2 weeks old. I'll do Agility with her as well, because I like it:D but our other dogs don't really like it xD
Han Squirrelsung Hopefully no sooner than 8 weeks old.
@@danielledewitt1 of course not:D She'll be 8 weeks old on 30th of march
@How marvellous am i omg mind your own business🤦🏻♀️ This person has to like the name, not you. It's not your dog. If this person likes that name it's completely fine
How marvellous am i Skye i# a great name.
Border collie breeds are super hyper active and I have noticed they are the fastest dog of all time❤ I want to have one so cute
Amazing dog agility competition!
Very nice 👍
3:55 Handler needs to be closer to the first pole, she pointed at it from afar, obviously she's to blame for confusing the dog, he went straight
to her, especially with that angle!
Normally you should be point to the front of the weaves. But because the entry in hidden by most handlers, and the dogs are coming out of a tunnel. Its hard for them to see the entry, its better for most dogs to stand on the other side and bring them in wide. Even if this is slower it gets that first pole. More experienced dogs can make that entry to no mater what, its just depends on the dog.
