  • Given to Odd Hougen on his 58th birthday and with his name carved in, Odd has given the 2018 Strongman competitors one of their most formidable events yet.
The odd-shaped stone has been buffed smooth over centuries making the task to just get some air under it seemingly impossible.
    Who will prevail?

      MATEUSZ
      KIELISZKOWSKI,
THE YOUNGEST MAN THERE (24 YEAR'S OLD) JUST STEPS UP TOO THE PLATE & LIFT'S A 410 POUND STONE / BOLDER WITH EASE.
WHILE THE OTHER COMPETITORS CAN HARDLY LIFT IT UP OFF THE GROUND,
OR THEY SQUAT DOWN TOO PICK UP THE STONE THEY COULDN'T DO IT ONLY JUST STAY IN THE SQUAT POSITION & NOT LIFT UP.
THIS MAN MATEUSZ KIELISZKOWSKI LIFTED IT 4 TIMES TOO GET 20 POINTS.
IF YOU ADD ALL THAT WEIGHT INTO ONE LIFT THEN IN ONE LIFT HE LIFTED UP 1,640 POUNDS OF RAW POWER & STRENGTH ON ONE SHOULDER.

I started lifting stones not too long ago, and even a 200lb stone can be completely befuddling. The odd shape poses a huge challenge in just figuring out how to get it off the ground. Beyond that, getting it up on your shoulder can be individually difficult as a lot of natural stones don't roll as easily as a round Atlas stone. It's like solving a really heavy puzzle.

Mark Henry needs to learn how to be a commentator. You would think with his time in the WWE and on Sirius XM, he would be so much better. It would have been more enjoyable if he had just stopped talking. They need Kaz.

Incredible multiple lifts, I love lifting odd objects owning a demolition company we have some competitions at work, and if I had these guys on my team I wouldn’t need heavy machinery, love these guys, God Bless these men of steal.

What is the sin of arrogance?
The sin of pride--the destructive aspect--is the arrogance, the haughtiness, the self-importance, and the disregard for the needs and the rights of others. We need to avoid it while at the same time building the events and services in our community which increase our pride and self-esteem.
