Just goes to show that Bottas doesn’t actually respect Lewis or how Mercedes have treated him, he didn’t really care if he took the point away from Lewis, he knows that Lewis only wins because of his help half the time so he decided to torment Mercedes and show them a little bit of the same disrespect they’ve shown him.

The best weekend of the year, in the year I lost my brother to covid19. Losing him gave me a yolo feeling after a while. And I bought tickets for the compleet weekend and I was lucky enough to go. What a weekend. I've never had this before. And so wonderful that my fellow countryman won the race (and got pole position). It's a dream come true. And in Spirit my brother was with me. ❤😊

Alonso was right lol. But on a serious note it was interesting how ice cool Max was during the race compared to ham. You would expect it to be the other way round, that the veteran is the calm one. Especially with this pressure in his country and everything.

The best race of the season, The Dutch army was great for the atmosfere, no red flags, and the comparison with Monte Carlo are ungrounded, Plenty of fights in the midfield and sometimes 3 cars side by side fighting for the points. That is racing :-)

Hats off to Perez and Alonso.....Carried the whole on-track entertainment on their shoulders
Cause 4-6 overtakes of Vettel and dozens of tries we're not shown. I watched the timing of the grid, and his time to the next driver was constantly 0.1 and below. They said this track was unforgiving and in f3 it was on fire. Here none even tried without being 1.5s faster on laptime, cause they were too afraid to spin or collect marbles -- ridiculous.

was hoping he waiting till last lap, cause they weren’t gonna put him (lewis) on softs since he had the fast lap, then bottas took it so lewis had to put for the point. Bottas also was on softs so he didn’t have to push very hard in clean air btw also, to get those purple sectors, so he should’ve waited till last lap till do it so he could’ve kept the point and lap record well race lap record. Mac has lap record i think now.

I often see Bottas moving over to let Lewis by. Why is he still doing this? I thought he gave an interview saying he wouldn't let the team compromise his performance anymore... It detracts from the excitment of the sport to know that a team is giving up extra points to one guy. Just let him race...

The Orange Army was so loud that the sound of the cars after Max were overwhelmed by the sound of the crowd. Amazing.
If you’ve been to an f1 in the turbo era, you’ll know that the cars don’t actually sound that loud.

@@RICHOCHANGO firstly, this is a turbo era lol. Secondly, the NA V12s and V10s and V8s were louder than any turbocharged cars. Turbo chargers mute the sound quite a lot. However I would agree the turbo era of the 80s was much louder than today.

Yeah, I think what they’re trying their hardest to avoid is the constant retirements when rosberg and hamilton collided, but it seems like they’re a bit TOO worried because it’s really showing why bottas’ smile is fading every time he reaches the podium. I’m sure the reason why he won in 2020 is because lewis retired, I’m new to f1 and i haven’t watched that race yet so correct me if i’m wrong, but dude I really don’t like merc’s treatment of Valtteri man, if George really is taking his spot then I hope it’s different. I think they’ll make George lewis’ pupil as he learns from him, hoping for George to win championships when lewis retires.

You're more than welcome if it's up to me. I was lucky enough to be there om the main straight on Friday and Saturday and Sunday I was on 1 of Arena Stands. It was a perfect weekend, sunny warm (not too warn), and fantastic atmosphere, everyone had a great time, and Max on Pole and winning, my wish came true 😀 👍 😊

I genuinely wasn't a fan of Max at the start of this season either, but the guy deserves a shot at the championship. His performance has been 99% perfect and he'd be way ahead in the standings if it weren't for some.... external factors.
This reminded me of Monza 2019 when no matter what Merc did, they couldn't catch the guy in front.

This race shows us that it’s not so much the cars, drivers or all of the rules that have castrated F1...it’s the new track designs. This was by far the most exciting modern F1 race hands down and that is due to this narrow and quick circuit. Please add more of these older circuits to the schedule.

Top car against backmarkers. Nothing special. He had many such drives last year. They were more impressive because they were in a racing point.(Styria, Spa, Portimao, Sakhir)

The 'backmarkers' were really just the usual Williams, Haas, and Alfa cars and actually in clean air his lap times were on par with his teammate, but it is very hard to overtake here thus only P8. We saw at Bahrain that Checo really can come through the whole field with minimal issue until he gets to the Mercedes cars.
