2018: Kimi vs Lewis
2019: Leclerc winning in Monza with a Ferrari
2020: Gasly wins with an Alpha Tauri
2021: Max vs Lewis and McLaren winning again
2017: race not that amazing but Stroll P2 and Ocon P3 in qualifying (after application of penalties)
The races at Monza from 2013-2017 were pretty boring
But Monza is so boring cause you cant overtake properly...

The most incredible part of this race was that the Mclaren 1-2 was looking very possible even before the Hamilton + Verstappen crash!
they were Papaya Rockets 🧡🚀
Shame that after Russia it has gone downhill for them....
@@phoenix1279 yeah that's what happens when you have to forfeit the development tokens to get the new Mercedes supplied engine working.
Since the 2021 season used updated versions of the 2020 cars, Mclarens car was designed around their Renault supplied engine, so it wasn't easy to get it working with the new Mercedes one. They did of course, but like it say they had to forfeit dev tokens which hampered their 3rd place fight.

What are the odds that Max’s pit stop and Lewis’ pit stop ultimately led to both of them running into each other? Never mind the actual contact they made but, both heading into the same corner side by side… Keeps me wondering still haha 😂

McLaren won pure pace i don't know why some people think it was gifted to them. Even if Max and Lewis didn't crash daniel and Lando had the pace to win or atleast get a podium.
Lewis had struggled for many laps to overtake Lando and would have had to overtake Danny as well no chance would he have got them both
Yeah, the crash was just the final nail on the coffin since it eliminated the only challenge they had because that sunday afternoon the McLaren Boys were amazing, only being challenged by the 2 goats, so these people have a point, but the win was deserved, maybe without the crash wouldn't be a 1-2, but they would've won nonetheless

I became a Perez fan this season. He drives so clean wheel to wheel.
Now all we need is non-Hamilton Verstappen highlights where we can see everything we missed throughout the year due to the extensive coverage the pair of them got

Tbh it’s not even that expensive, though it might be different prices in other countries
This race just sums up Gio's end to the season. Qualifies very well, crashes or has bad luck at the start of the race and drowns at the back of the field for the rest of it
He didn't deserve to finish 18th when both Nicholas and Kimi finished ahead. He's outperformed both of them during the season. Two positions wouldn't make that much of a difference, but still.

The fact that instead of spinning out crashing, Norris gained a place when he went on the grass while full throttle is beyond me.
Yeah, that was nuts. There was at least one time this season where the right car of a pair of wheel-to-wheel cars clipped the right grass, spun out left, and took both cars out.
Inner wheel was on the grass so the car wasn't likely to lose traction since most of the weight is on the outer wheels. Try it on the F1 game or any sim.
It's actually the best overtake of the season according to f1's top ten overtakes
Danny winning again was absolutely amazing, he really deserved that shoey
you can definitely see Max’s aggression calm down as he becomes friends with people on the grid. It’s definitely way better and i’m glad he can properly handle himself as a racer

This entire season was goosebumps, race after race. When Crofty raises his voice and you hear the crowd groaning when these two come together...what a race, what a season.
i dont know how it is not a mistake of Max. At the apex, Lewis car is supposed to be in the front and it is. Tell me, isn't it how Max drives all the time against other drivers. How can he complain about the space when he doesn't give the same to others.

This was the best race to watch! Max and Lewis wrecking each other and both McLaren's with a one-two finish. 🔥

Great to see Ricciardo win again. He and McLaren needed that more so Daniel.
In my opinion this accident was 40% Lewis in Max fault but it was 60% FIA fault because the sausage curbs should not be used to now they just cause more incidents than actually stopping drives to go over the white lines because max was still within the whites lines and Lewis gave enough space but the sausage curb made max car bounce

The sausage kerbs did their job perfectly either one of the drivers yields and they continue to race cleanly or they collide and go both our of the race if we had this kind of limiting messures in every track the brasil and saudi arabia incidents would have been a dnf for both drivers either they race cleanly or the track punishes them for it that's how it should be
You could see at 17:05 how Toto was impressed with Checo's overtake...he always does it clean and fair
Exept when checo plows past charles off track in this same video. Checo can be a very clean and defensive driver but when hes being a clumsy driver it really shows

Norris thought he was faster, Ricciardo just knew how to win
The Max/Lewis and Perez/Leclerc incident clearly shows what the problem is with F1 and not having gravel. Lewis always pushes cars off the track because it forces the car on the outside to forfeit the position, had Max cut the corner he'd for one risk damage to his car and second, he'd have to give the position to Lewis or get a 5 second penalty as Perez did, so why would Max ever pick that option? The car on the outside always loses, and the car on the inside always wins by forcing the other car wide, because there isn't any gravel which makes the stewards expect a driver to utilize the run off.

Max seemed to have no concern for Hamilton's well-being. Max did not even bother checking if Hamilton was okay. A typical Dutch.
I wouldn`t care for that one knee sitter either.
By that you forgot that Hamilton actually took a solid minute till he asked is his rival ok after he almost "killed" Verstappen at Silverstone, compared between Variante del Retifillo and Copse you can see the speed difference and on that speed it's almost certain that the survival rate is almost 100%

This from a Ferrari fan that witnessed Leclerc in P4 a step away from podium.
I believe Verstappen needs to quit his cocky attitude when it comes to defense and grab some lessons from Norris. As for the incident, my apologies to those who don't appreciate my view, this one's on Verstappen.

Man, Max could have carried that speed into Turn 4 for an easy pass. Hope he is able to think further ahead in the future. He is an incredible talent but needs a stronger head game imo.

No one talks about how mercedes bad strategy cost them this championship. Mercedes had no reason to pit hamilton the lap after max. They could have waited, had fresh mediums, and flown past max

They thought if we pit now we will come ahead of Max. But then Lewis got a slow stop as well. Mercedes were 100% focussed on Max, like always. Quite sad.
frfr, both Hamilton and bottas called the questionable decisions throughout the season.
The only flaw mercedes had in their strategy here was not expecting max to take lewis out because of a slow pitstop
