I was there at Ibrox vs Dunfermline as a 9 year old. When Mikel Arteta scored everyone went crazy, we were all crying with joy, probably one of the best days of my life!
Love how Sutton would go on to accuse Dunfermline of lying down but didn't have any problem with Killie getting beat 4-0 at home with a missed penalty as well.

Dunfermline didn't even celebrate scoring, was a farce that day. 2 good sides Celtic and Rangers at the time. Celtic robbed by Mourinhos Porto in the UEFA final few days previously. Neither teams today would get within 3 goals of them respective teams.
This was deffo better than helicopter. Im a rangers fan, but credit due, Celtic played thier souls out both domestic and in europe and did scotland proud. In my eyes Celtic deserved to win the europa cup, only losing out to dirty tactics from Porto. I also felt sorry for the bad press dunfermaline recieved after the game, they battled hard against us that day.

If GD and Goals Scored are both identical, i think it then goes on head to head results, which would have been in Celtic's favour. If still equal at that point, I believe a play-off is then required.

Rangers won the league on Goal Difference (Rangers GD was +73, Celtic's was +72), a 5-0 win for Celtic would have made the Goal Difference equal, but it would have then have been decided on Goals Scored. Rangers scored 101 goals, Celtic scored 98 goals. So that missed penalty didn't change anything. Even if Arteta missed his penalty, Rangers would have been champions. Fine margins, though: If Thompson scored and Arteta missed, Celtic would have won the league!!
