I have an Ebbtide Lakemaster that's also 15' with a 76 Johnson inline 70hp 3 cyl. it runs about 30-35mph. Motor runs great and I'm convinced that's normal for these style boats and engines.
Wow an evinrude boat never seen one
Real cool boat. Makes me want to go fishing!
Nice job.
Wow that's an awesome boat and motor. You really should not rev it up like that when on muffs and when she's cold man.
Nice rig...
very cool boat. its too bad you don't have the original OMC cleats on her... I always thought those old evinrude and johnson boats were neat.
Don't know why so many you tubers like to start their engines and keep them running it's not like no one's ever saw/heard an engine running.Nice boat,.looks like you've taken good care of it.
It's nice for comparison sake.
Nice boat, great job restoring her, but DON'T rev her like that when shes cold man!!!
Even if this is 10 years I agree with this comment.
Tittle should be" How not to run an outboard on a ear muff". If you do like this video, revving it like that on a house hose, good luck with your engine.
Does your catalogue also show the 11ft version of the same design boat?
how was the mower towing?
hows it running after a season?
i just bought an evinrude trihull with walkthrough windshield have no clue what year it is.
Do these engines have an auto choke when you turn key ?
mine is electric
I have bin around boats my entire life and i dont get you people that say dont rev it on muffs theres no difference if its 6000rpm in the water or on land as long as theres water coming out of the piss hole its getting lots of water. just dont put it in gear and rev it up i have seen props come apart like that
Revving it a little is ok but not that high tho , What happens is,. it will fling the pin that holds the clutch dog in the prop shaft and trash the gearcase. Been servicing outboards 42 years and seen it happen dozens of times The pin is only held by a lite spring. then the tuning fork vibration theory comes into play , then BOOM!!!
Also there is back pressure. When in water
You sure that's a 1960 ?
hold the camera still!!!
cool boat, hate those 3 cylinders tho
Said no man ever😂
Americans
How can you possibly buy a boat that can’t go on the ocean without being swamped!?
An evinrude boat with a Johnson outboard...hmmmmmmm
Johnson is evirude
That's not a 1960 motor.
