    That's an awesome 70, I have a couple myself, but man be careful putting her in gear and giving it a rev bc that little piece of plywood isn't gonna hold the torque and their goes your bottom end, just saying. Lol.

    Well I guess that's one way to keep the prop from freewheeling... probably not the best way...

      I bought a 1977 70hp Evinrude brand new for $1500.00. Pretty much identical to the johnson except for the paint. Great motor except it didn't have tilt/trim. Those days are long gone. Lol.

      Those motors don’t have a pee hole

      There is ample pee on this guy. Near the end you can see me check the pee temp with my hand…
