Can GPX routes be uploaded into the iGo primo navigation system? I have many saved rides on the Harley Route Planner website and being able to upload those or ones prepared with Rever or other route planning software would be great.

I ran into the noise issue when disabling the Button Beep on the HDHU.14+. Soundstream no longer allows the owner to update, just find an authorized dealer. 100 miles away. This was supposed to be an up to date radio when purchased. Not sure why Soundstream would remove the ability to keep the radio up to date.
If you bought from volunteer audio it would have been fully up to date when shipped. If you download the update incorrectly it will corrupt the files and brick the radio. We offer the updates already on a flash drive
I like my sound stream radio it’s really nice. But you pick my interest at camera system that is what is lacking on all these bikes you have to go with a GoPro anything good. I would love to have a good camera system for safety and for tourism.

hi Jay. sounds like a great system. do i understand that this now has a stand alone Navigation system? that is one thing i like about the Harley GTS. i don't need to use data and apple car play when i cross the border into the US. the other versions did not have stand alone GPS/Nav and that is what keeps me from the prior versions

Is idatalink built in? I know the other company idatalink is, but I like the bigger qled screen one the V2. If the idatalink is built-in eliminating the need for and extra harness and bs box to stuff away I'll be waiting for the V2
Not currently, idata is pushing all manufacturers to eventually add it to the board internally, this would delay release greatly but may eventually be in the radio, the other manufacturer still has not built one with it internal yet either.

Hi Jay, 3 questions.
1. Will it redirect audio from bike to Cardo in stereo when using Android Auto?
2. Can you customise the home screen when you start your bike to be on gauges or digital speedo etc? Or even start up on previous screen?
3. Can you customise the bike information for PSI, deg C, Kph? Currently in Aus, we have to switch between metric etc to get tire air pressure to display PSI, but it then it changes everything to MPH Deg F.

Yes it will connect to your cardo in stereo, the home screen can not be customized but may change to include easy access to all sources before ship date, this was not the final software, yes you can change units inside the maestro features menu, I know Idatalink is based in Montreal Canada, they also use kph and psi together

You can, but an amp will be much louder
Diamond radio or the V2 which should I go with?
The features do not align, V2 is far more capable, large internal amplifier, bigger screen, built in navigation, full wireless headset support and many other features. V2 is the best option and if I was looking at the diamond radio the hdhu14si is more comparable and a better radio at a lower cost

Great video Jay! Will the V2 have fuel range? Let's say a customer has tweeters in the voltage and fuel guage pods. I saw the turn signal display and voltage display on screen. Will the V2 display low fuel or fuel levels?
I think it can calculate fuel economy but I don’t remember a fuel gauge, its engine data comes from the ecm and I doubt it can see fuel level
Do you think the opening flash screen is Hackable? I would prefer to replace it with a custom intro screen.

It does not have weather band but their are great apps that do what you asked about

I know it’s plug and play but what if you have precision power amp with Infiniti four speaker set up already stock boom. Are there adjustments that need to be made for the sound clarity. I’m currently full volume zero distortion tuned by you guys. How would that change with the different wattage output from the new radio? Thanks Jay.

just ordered the new v-2 from y'all and a pair of hertz 6.5 neo speakers.... i have a 21 electra glide standard .... i went to the Harley dealer to buy the new thumb controls .... they said that they didn't have plug and play thumb controls that would work .... but that it would probably cost me another 700 dollars to get the thumb controls to work, right .... i thought ya'll said i could just buy some new control and just plug them up and be good to go .... just wanted to get ahead of the game while waiting on delivery of the radio and speakers ..... what is the correct thumb controls part # I need to buy to plug and go ... I did watch your video where your right control worked and the left one didn't .... what solved that problem

I have the precision power amp, will it cancel out the v2 amp or add them together
When you run an external amp you are receiving the power from the external amplifier, you would need to change your amp settings which we can help you with if you decide to upgrade to v2
would an amp still be needed if using this unit with 4 Hertz SPL SX 165 neo speakers?
We will test how loud it is once we get a radio here, but we used to use a hertz hmp4d amp with similar power that was loud enough for most people but the larger amps add a lot more volume and mid bass response
Does the radio come with a gps and radio antenna? What 2 Front Speakers would be recommended on a 2018 Street glide to be paired with the v2 ? I’m Still considering ordering it to Germany.
It comes with a gps antenna and can also use the stock gps antenna, it reuses your stock fm antenna, I think the hertz sx165neo would be my choice for 2 fronts
Thanks for the response. I bought my harley butchered, they changed the rear to a cvo style rear, no large „rc car style“ antenna anymore. And i bet they forgot to put a small antenna under the fairing, because i get neither gps nor fm radio on the gt 6.5

Correct, but it does so many other features that the stock hd radio can not do, it’s time to get a wireless headset or Bluetooth in ears
@@volunteeraudio I use a CB mic for all my comms (phone calls, comands). It acts like a headset but I don't need anything on my head. It even allows me to use a wireless dongle for android auto on my GTS. I never did mind the cord, I've been using one since 2003 and my batteries have never failed me yet, LOL. I don't think they make a standard compatible Bluetooth Mic. I think if they do I'm there. Eliminating the gauges on the Roadglide with this radio might be worth it though I guess.

It has a 200 watt rms, 400 watt peak class d amp built in, that is 50 watts rms per channel or about double what the factory radio does. Most of our systems have at least 100 watts rms per channel to be even louder

The price is on their website. $1600 for radio before accessories. Closer to $2000 optioned out.

I guess I should have looked. I just saw his video on it, hot off the press and asked before I looked. It was interesting that he said you may not need an amp for the quality. Of course I think we all know you can 't beat an amp but I do wonder what it sounds like. I am on the fence for the moment

@ChipsPlace1952 I think we're all excited to see what the future holds with the competition. I've had the GT, Sony xav-ax7000 and the GTS radio. The Sony sounded the best but wasn't intended for motorcycles really. I ran all setups with or without Dsp and Flashed Headunits. Without and without amps. The Sony xav-ax7000 internal Amplifier sounded good. But my External Amplified power is way more superior. This music rabbit hole gets deep. It will surely lighten your wallet. My advice to anyone is have a plan. Listen to a few systems in person. Purchase once and have a budget set.
Just don't know why full systems come with 800 watt amp and 80 watt speakers SMH
