Actually our best historical friend is Paraguay, in the war of the triple alliance where Paraguay lost around 60% of their population Colombia had a law (and i think it still apply) where if Paraguay cease to exist all it's citizens would be considered colombians, and helped reconstruct Paraguay after the war.

I'm from Colombia, last year I visited Tirana as a part of a backpacking trip to the Balcans... That region and specially Tirana reminded me a lot of Colombia! Kind people, great food, lots of green in the city! I loved it, looking forward to visit again.
