Creating a Milk Simulation in Bifröst (Maya 2018) - PART 1

In this lesson, we will be creating a simulation of milk pouring into a glass. The lesson will go over the basics of Bifröst, working with small scale simulations and refining the details to ensure that no particles crash or intersect with geometry.
This is part 1 of 2 videos. In part 2, we will cover converting the particles into mesh, then prepping the scene for rendering out a photorealistic result. We will be using VRay for the final render, but the same principles can be applied to other renderers.

I created a cube, I picked and selected bifrost->create->liquid.... and nothing you see here happened. It created a tiny (container?) cube at the origin, far away form the cube I picked and a few bifrost entries in the outliner, but no dots, no emitter, nothing appeared. When I tried turning the cube int an emitter, I only got error messages. ?????????????? I had sooo many fails like this since I started learning maya. This is the industry standard? Maya is probably the most bugged trashy illogical app I ever used.
