      I think it is because of the coaching. Basically tons of coaching and doing more of what works and less of what doesn't.

    These announcers are so bad doing nothing but doubting him the whole race like he doesn’t have a 1:48 pr.

    • @cartoonpower0

      Tbf he did go out very aggressively and was running nearly all a lone up front so it was interesting to see what happens next

    • @chinter
      @chinter Před rokem +9

      51 low is what the pros go out in, and they will finish in 1:43 with that pace. Probably better to go 53-54 so the last 200 doesn't rise above 30

    • @arogueburrito
      @arogueburrito Před rokem +2

      @@chinter for sure. but for a season opener, I as a coach would say go balls to the wall. You get a time we can work with. If I want my athlete to run a PR, I'm insisting on a 400 that is closer to a prescribed pace around a 2 second differential, but might as well test the fitness at the early point of the season. If he can run 52 into 54 for a 1:46 PB by the end of the year, there's no sense ever slowing down that first 400. If he's not quite there by the end of the season, we can talk about slowing the first 400.

    • @danvillalba5779
      @danvillalba5779 Před rokem

      He totally did go out too fast and with a little better pacing likely would’ve broken 1:50. That being said, it just annoyed me that the announcers treated him like he was going to absolutely die and walk in a 2:15 or something.

  • @djxcel23

    You cant call it a good Field when you win by almost 4 seconds. A good Field would yield a tighter race

  • @mr.nobody7771

    As fast as Aaron is, his form and his pacing is slowing him down, his arm movement is very inconsistent and sloppy, not to mention he opens in a 50-51 and then slows down by like 9-10 seconds for his second lap, don’t get me wrong, he his very talented, but this is going to hold him back from his true potential
