At the end of the video we discussed the fact that some people say that ATGMs are no longer needed and will be replaced by drones. You heard our opinion in the video. But what do you think about it?
I think you're a bigger divi than biden
I think you need to do better fact-checking. Around the 8:50 mark someone fires a rocket at a tank form 20m away. You say this is a javelin, but those have a minimum arming distance of 65 meters. Same goes for 1:50, that tank is well within 60 meters of the alleged firing position.
Even worse is at mark 4:05, where you can see the launcher and can clearly see it's NOT a javelin.
You really can't say anything about the javelin being obsolete when you can't even recognise one.
@@jelmervd2l he's another clown that couldn't tie a boot lace
In my opinion, ATGM are amazing weapons, but in the end, it all depends on the cost/benefit ratio. ATGMs won't dissappear, but they will be used less, only to attack really expensive targets, or those that cannot be hit by drones. Greetings from Colombia
@@jelmervd2l who pissed in your corn flakes this morning ? If you want to critique something just make it about your own life. Because if you don't like it then pack your shit and move to a new sandbox. 🤔
That Javelin you showed at 16 seconds was actually an NLAW - it overflew the tanks and beamed a death ray down on them.... The NLAW was better in urban fights, the Javelin had more range for open areas.
Stugna has more recorded vehicle kills than the javelin. In fact stugna has more recorded vehicle kills than any other atgm in history. Also stugna is a favourite among Ukrainians because it allows you to safely watch an entire area with decent thermals for hours, stugna also offers different calibre sizes and different warheads.
are you Ukrainian- ?
@@gbodybala9295 no but I have seen many videos of Ukrainians from different units talking about what atgm they prefer and they all prefer stugna. They both play a different role but there is one massive difference, stugna has a battery that lasts 5 hours and it has a thermal that can survey a wide area from complete safety 50ft away from the launch module, javelins thermal targeting locking optic lasts 50 seconds and the user has to be exposed to lock the target.....it's a no brainer. And yes it's a fact that stugna has the highest recorded vehicle kill count which Includes 2 KA-52 attack helicopters and even some air defence systems. It's also destroyed 4 tanks in 3 minutes which no ground based atgm has done before.
Sfugna b has been a favourite with tank hunters and recon laters for all types of hardpoints for decades now
Guessing that Singers; HIMARS; Patriots; ATACMS, Bradleys, M1A1 Tanks; F-16s...'aren't any good', either...right...? 🙄
@@dioghaltasfoirneartach7258 no they are all brilliant. Javelin is brilliant and it's the most advanced man portable atgm in the world but in Ukraine situation stugna is preferred and has a better record. But that's just one equipment type, for example Bradley, F-16 and patriot are all the best in their field out of the equipment that Ukraine has.
This is not true - The Javelin played little part in the defence of Kyiv - At the beginning of the war, Ukraine had 54 Javeilins and 2,000 NLAWS - which do you think stopped Russia from taking Kyiv more? The Javelin is very impressive but they were not there in numbers because they were initially sold not gifted like the NLAWS from UK.
Loads of nlaw uses in this video, whoever made it didnt know the difference i guess
@@Zlatanswell nlaws are weaker but nevertheless still good but javelin has stronger penetration and most of them were javelin in the video expect for prob the manpad or stingers shooting down the heli or the soldier who fired at the tank close by was prob a rpg7
@@Aurxa09 The Issue is not that Javelins are good - they simply were not there in any quantity at the start of the war to make a difference - they are expensive and US insisted on selling them - UK Ben Wallace reasoned that way to much blood and plasma was being shipped to an alleged "Excercise" and notified the then Borris Johnson who promptly sent 2,000 NLAWS so Kyiv could defend itself - all 3 weeks before the invasion - A NLAW is not "Weak"
Exactly. At the start of the video the narrator says "it was the javelins that saved them from Russian occupation in the early days of the war". Exactly at that moment, around 0:15, an NLAW hit is shown.
thanks to the United States of America and its citizens, we Ukrainians are very grateful
Next year thanks to USA's tax payers your official language will be russian and your nation will remain nomade like palestiniens.
Do not thank the citizens. The vast majority does not support giving you guys aid and weapons especially since taxpapers are broke and paying for this. Not to mention you guys will NEVER pay this back and you will eventually lose this war. Corrupt leaders around the world use Ukraine as a front to launder money to their families. You thank them, not the citizens. These corrupt leaders are stealing from the citizens.
I keep reading this and yet Europe has sent much more aid while the US sends old stuff that otherwise would be destroyed.
It's getting hard to get Europeans to stand for Ukraine when you just keep praising the US while we have done so much more.
Why not praise France? Denmark, Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Sweden when we have gone WAY beyond to send our latest and best to the point that we are actually suffering economically and defence wise now?
We will always stand with Ukraine, that isn't true for the US.
☦️🇬🇷🇨🇾🇷🇺💯💪
@@michaelmay5453 The majority of the American people stand with Ukraine, we just happen to have a dipshit senile President.
You also need to remember, much of America's "old stuff" is still sometimes decades ahead of what many other countries possess.
Of course, I am not implying that Ukraine should not be thankful for the support of other European countries....they absolutely should be. I am also not implying that the US should not send more aid in the form of weapons/tech/training... we absolutely should. Just don't blame all of us over here just because the guy in charge is incompetent.
@8:00 this doesn't show reactive armor but an active protection system
Long live FREE UKRAINE
Nuh uh
@@user-sz9pe1bn2z 🤡
The NLAW is just has effective has the JAVLIN but the JAVLIN has a longer range , bur NLAW is a lot cheaper and lighter to use
Your facts on reactive armor are wrong your describing trophy systems not reactive armor. Reactive armor reacts to the kinetic energy and explode on impact of the warhead fired at them. So they destroy the projectile on contact and dont shoot outward to destroy the missile.
what did i just read?
reactive armor is designed to be anti-cumulative defence - explosion distrupts cumulative jet making it less effective
@myhorseisamazing5883 my friend your missinformed. In order to shoot out like a projectile you need technology that registers the incoming threat calculatets a interception angle and then fires and destroyes the threat. A trophy system.
The armor he is talking about explodes with kinetic energy and defeats the incoming threat with a counter explosion to save the hull of the tank..
@@saltyv1rg1n19 ERA is not just kinetic it disrupts chemical energy rounds too (HEAT and HESH, although no one uses HESH these days) Javelin has the tandem warhead. ERA can be placed in most areas on the tank, not just the hull.
@@saltyv1rg1n19 you are right
Great video!
Феерично !
Great video with good info on the use of the individual weapons.
There are clearly several NLAW strikes in this video misattributed to Javelin 😅
The NLAWS were there in quantity and easy to use
West could help Ukraine produce "Stuhna" produce spare parts, electronics and lenses.
Дякую за підтримку України ❤
the first thing they think of is.... "its free and its all we got"
I believe both ATGMs (anti-tank guided missiles) and drones have their unique advantages and roles in modern warfare. While drones offer increased flexibility and reconnaissance capabilities, ATGMs remain crucial for their precision and destructive power against armored targets. However, the evolving nature of warfare suggests that a combination of both technologies might be the most effective approach, rather than completely replacing one with the other. It's essential to continually assess and adapt military strategies to meet evolving threats and technological advancements.
Look at what has happened to the land. It looks like surface of the moon.
Whose fault is that? The Russians, with their invasion.
It's disgusting, which is why russia can not be allowed to win.
I looks like russian village
You can’t compare a crew served weapon like the STUGNA-P or Skif to the Javelin. It can be remote fired up to 50m (not remote controlled). The Javelin firer does expose themselves when firing, then moves to cover. The Javelin uses thermographic infrared guidance. The STUGNA-P is manual or laser guided but the launcher remains visible, uses a laser (an AFV may have a Laser warning sensor) The Javelin has two parts, the Command Launch Unit (that’s reusable ) and the missile. One man can carry a Javelin (CLU and missile) it takes 2 or 3 men for a STUGNA-P.
07:57 The audio describing ERA is correct, but that's not ERA in the video. That's the newest version of ATGM defense called the Active Protection System, or APS. ERA is passive, and waits for an RPG round or ATGM to hit the target first, then react, trying to deflect the penetration jet. APS watches for an incoming attack, and _just before it hits the target_ fires an explosive that hits the incoming round or missile, causing it to detonate before it hits. They're also working on a new type of armor called Electromagnetic Armor, which doesn't use any explosives at all. It's a multi-layered armor that uses high-voltage to disintegrate anything hitting it.
Javelin
Thanks ❤
Russia needs to go home!
We're at home. But whose is Texas and California?
Your home is Mukhoosrensk🇷🇺, not the Ukraine🇺🇦.
Go home and you'll survive.
in many pictures the Ukrainian soldiers are not using the Javelin but the Saab Bofors Dynamics NLAW
now these complement one another

Amazing 😮
As far as I remember, the russian helicopter shot down in a clip at 4:00 was actually shot down by polish MPADS "Piorun", not Jawellin.
Russia has already lost as much soldiers than usa at vietnam war !!…insane !!
Great 👍
Thank you 👍
Hello ! I love to see sutch footage, but everyone, need to remembrer, people are dying in this horrible war because of the more than senseless withdrawals of people sitting comfortably in their offices. I wish peace between these two countries for the good of the people.
0:37 Javelins & AKs in the same frame ! Weird !
Some footage where soldiers using Nlaws as well, not just Javelins.
Come on poohtin stop killing everyone for your own self gratification
WE know how Ukraine loves the Troy, Alabama made Javelins. The new 60+ billion dollar aid and military package has Stingers and also 10,000 Javelins. I am going to look hard to see how the so-called Russian Turtle Tank does against an American Javelin. Many are in Ukraine now and many more coming. This aid package is the largest ever and it is not our backyard, but we will stand firm. The U.K. is also doing a great job, so are the French finally, and same with the Germans who held back for months on many things needed, but it seems now that most of Europe is now adamant about helping their neighbor push Russia out of Ukraine. This year will be most interesting, as Ukraine is getting now what is needed, including the Storm Shadow missiles from U.K, and American long range ATACMS that can hit Russian territory and Crimea at will. Ukraine is now capable of making themselves, over one million drones that hit them hard. If Russia wants to loose their economic future, then just keep on fighting this stupid war you started, but everywhere you look you see they are taking open fields, (big deal), but they have lost out of 38 refineries about 35% and now begging Belarus for diesel, gas, and jet fuel to continue the war effort. They can not sell these products and make revenue for war, plus they also need diesel for their spring and late fall harvest. Not good! Ukraine without a navy has taken out 50% of Russia's Black Sea
and Servastopol port in Crimea is hit daily now with ATACMS. The new Russian railroad in eastern Donbas will be hit soon and they are also going after the train engines and they are in demand and hard to replace with Russia in dire need of most things. The Crimea bridge went from 57 train's across in March, but now April/May, pulled back to just seven, as they fear being hit and plan on using the railroad mentioned, but that too will be hit soon by Storm Shadow or ATACMS long range missiles. Ukraine is also hitting and taking out in Russian territory their aid defense and same in Crimea, so they can this year move on Crimea taken in 2016. Ukraine now has 50+ strong powerful GDP nations and number one in GDP America sending much needed artillery to and soon as Europe and America go into full all out war production, Russia will have little weapons or troops who want to fight their neighbor. Watch Jake Broe, Artur Rehial, Willian Spaniel, Task & Purpose, Deny's, or Joe Blogs channels and all feel Russia is living on borrowed time. The new Russian breakup will make the one in 91' when the Soviet Union broke apart look like a walk in the park. So-to-speak! China is just waiting to pick Russia's bones and natural resources and for sure take back the land Russia took from China, (outer Manchuria to Japan and Russia after the Opium Wars, some 600,000 square miles. Well, China needed this vast land with ports and vast raw material wealth, so they still keep it on Chinese maps even today. Lots of doom and gloom coming to Russia as econ-one wins in every war. Russia will go totally bankrupt in about two years.
i love this aim and forget weapon... so op!

Question: in case of getting a direct hit from javeline, do the crews in the tank survive?
Are you joking? Survive in russian junk?
WWAAAYYY too many mistakes on this Video to name!
💥💥💥💥💙💛
where can I get the uncensored versions of this
Good old American technology
NLAW 🇸🇪
4:10 I like how the guy says "JUST 150,000 dollars!"
Cheep then, a 2 million tank
Stugna is a brutal sized warhead wired missile, tanks stands almost no chance to survive a direct hit.
If there will be a Ukraine add on for Battlefield?
ppst you can buy 750 fpv drones for the price of one javelin missle :)
Everything requested is on the way! Putin is forked.
4:00 It was not Javelin, it's Polish set ''Lightning'' .
Ukraine Must be Winning, isn't it ?
only in social networks
If west support
4 tanks destroyed by a Brigade? I’d hope so! That’s 3 x Battalions plus supporting arms.
Slava Ukraini 💙💛🇺🇦
4:00 - it was polish manpads - Piorun
NLAW = 800 meters / JAVELIN = 2500 meters / AKERON MP = 5000 meters ( tested 5000 meters !! )
All Ukrainian Army
All of this could have been avoided if Russia had behaved itself and not invade
Less then 3 percent effect. We see empty tanks explode
Have we given any dragon missiles?
Hvala....
According to ukraine - most of the jevelins are damaged and were not working - those which shoot are rare to hit the target.
For now there were only one confirmed hit after tank by jevelin.
Slava ZSU 🇺🇦
There are no way a javelin should cost 150 thousand!
Wrong about the Stugna . The operator can be a long way away from the unit itself watching on a screen so if the Russians do detect the unit the operator is safe . Also the Stugna has a longer range and can fire multiple rounds . There is a video where one Stugna take out 5 Russian tanks one after the other
Bros forgetting the NLAW which dealt massive damage to russian armour in the early phases of the war.
SLAVA UKRANI!
❤❤❤❤
2:53 this is a ukrainian t-64
4:00 PPZR Piorun
Nope it is the NLAW
russian reactive armour is filled with dust😂
Try that in a small town Mr. Putin

Um guys, at 12:37... Is that a turret flying ??

hello can you do more videos witout cenzura ? im your suscriber
Nice light show ruzzia
8:14 this is an APS system not ERA
you just sow uke tanks and polish piorun ... yeeeeee that good source to get information
You are not correct. The Stugna operator can be many tens of meters from the launcher. And Stugna showed itself very, very well from the beginning of the war
These are surely no T-90's because it would have spotted the Ukranians at that short range!
how so ? humans make mistake and you clearly dont understand what fog of war is
one tank destroyed but 50 Km² gained
Хороший жгучий шмэль
Quick way to get to the front to take on military vehicles!!
8:57 that was not a javelin its was some other kind of an anti tank weapon
there was also a minimal damage done to the tanks from what I can see which suggests that the soldiers were to close to the tanks and the warhead did not arm
@ 7:53 "Rocket armor?
Wo sind die zerstörten Ukraine Panzer?
You obviously have no idea what reactive armor or trophy systems are....
Most of these were not Javelin shots
kasihan tentara rusia, hanya jadi tumbal keserakahan putin,.ribuan tentaranya tewas, tapi putin tidak perduli.who is wrong
In the end all wars are won by brave soldiers fancy toys have limited value.
