Great video as always! But I'd have to be real hungry to eat anything that lives next to a culvert and swims in storm run off. I think the "freshwater taste" comes more from the peacock habitat. Wild caught mountain trout are real good and pretty much the only freshwater fish I eat.

I am legit compiling vids from fishing in the canals a couple weeks ago, caught some killer peacock, clown knife and actually landed a tilapia from in the channels down there around West Palm Beach. 16 mins in and can't wait to see what you think of the meat :)

Will probably sound silly of me, but maybe you could do a collab with the landshark-ourdoors channel - the fellow from that had a cool strategy of scoping large snakeheads via drone and casting parallel shore-wise; Gale-Force and those folks are both in FL so maybe? I don't know how inter-creator stuff works with u'tubin young folk... Nice video, still.

I have eaten lots of bass ( California lakes) But defiantly prefer the salt water fish. Freezer full of Salmon, Halibut , Tuna but no Bass at this time
any thoughts on the yellowfin 26 hybrid for inshore and offshore fishing? or do you need a bigger boat for offshore like 30+?

Peacock is better. We caught about 15 in an hour and cleaned them at the lake. Called home to have the grease and grits ready for eating 👍🏻Best clean white meat.
