- In this video a women pastor from Crossroads Church Cincinnati irreverently kicks a bible from the church stage into the congregation as if it's a football. This shocking display of irreverence is completely unbiblical and contrary to the instructions Paul gave to the church in Titus 2:1-8. Furthermore, this women is unqualified for the ministry because only men can be pastors and because she is not sensible, self-controlled, reverent, sober minded or well behaved. Christians need to flee this seeker sensitive church and find themselves a biblical church. The seeker sensitive movement is is like a cancer in the church infecting the whole body and filling the pews with false converts and bringing shame and reproach onto the body of Christ.

You can trace a lot of current heresies in the Church right back to the American Evangelical christian Church, they start it, ie Prosperity Doctrine, then they spread it to the World.

I wouldn't walk out because they weren't teaching scripture I'd just walk out because it's a waste of time like most churches, there's no depth and deep meaning to draw from anything just a bunch of dumbed down daycare for modern people

The one think that I have always strived for is the truth. That is what I have always ask GOD for. Then HE directed me to Allen Nolan out of Oklahoma. @ronaldross6950 I prefer an expository style preaching/ teaching service. I dress modestly , in skirts and dresses. I cover my head, headcovering. Most churches do not encourage women to live a modest and submissive lifestyle, I don't have anything against those women I would just like to fellowship in a place where I don't have to explain my plain look.

I used to go to this church (Crossroads) I hate to say… but I WAS saved while attending . There are believers there… and hopefully more will leave. But your comment is quite presumptuous. I've run FOH sound for my church for many years... I honestly don't know what I would've done if I witnessed someone kicking a bible out into the audience. I've never rebelled against my pastors before but if I saw that happen in my church, I would've probably muted the mic and removed myself from the position.
That would have been the right response but I'm sure you would have seen it coming. I wonder how many if any will continue to attend that so called church. Sadly, they have been persuaded that a concert and comedy show is a Sunday morning service.
I'm glad that you made a video on this church. In fact, about 17 years ago I went to this church with my wife. Cause we live in Ohio nearby. After a few weeks we realized they never ever said the name Jesus never brought up repentance never brought up sin. In fact, they have pop machines all over the place before you enter into the sanctuary. And most people are late to come to church because they're too busy getting soda pops and going in and out getting free drinks over and over and over.

Some mega church pastors seem to have issues with pride and greed and the desire to be a rock star. It must be difficult when you get to that point to realize your urgent need to truly repent.

@balung True though I have faith that there are at least one or two genuine churches with true pastors in a city within America, just got to distinguish them by what they preach and keep away from the others. Street preachers and this guy, along with some other youtubers are who I often watch videos from to keep up with what's going on in society, but I always rely on my personal communion with Jesus for my life or simply follow scripture.

There are many Christian assemblies in America that have godly men that preach the gospel, members that know sound Biblical doctrine, and members that participate in the righteous practices found in God's word. These assemblies contain Godly women who teach the children, are role models for younger women, play the piano or organ, and serve in many other ways to help the body of believers.

I have attended a church where a female pastored and she mainly spoke (not preached), about how she helped her hungry and needy friends. Sang praises to herself. Then asked for tithes and offering, challenging not to just give 10% since that is only the tip of the iceberg. These people smoke crack!!

This really grieves my heart. I love God too much to kick a Bible. Honestly, even hearing them kick the Bible, makes me sick, angry, anxious, and makes me feel as if the Lord is really being mocked, and being trampled on through his word. This should not be happening. We should pray for these people, and pray for the congregants to leave this church and find a new Biblically sound church.
There should be no one attending that church after that awful display of mocking God. It's a spiritually dangerous place to be!

I use to go to a charismatic church. One time the pastor turned down the lights, put on that song Happy, then everyone started dancing. It was very cringy. I quit going there after that. Not to mention, there was very little teaching from the Bible. More emotional than anything.

I live in Cincinnati. Crossroads is one of the most popular "churches" in the area. I've called them out on the Bible kicking in social media posts in years past, as they've done this "Super Bowl of Preaching" event, as they call it, for years. They assured me that it wasn't a real Bible inside, just a football-looking Bible cover. That reasoning fell flat with me. They've even had tailgating, complete with alcohol consumption, in their parking lot before the event. Yet thousands of people attend their services every week. It's sad and infuriating. It's a social event for young people, mostly, and their church services are more like rock concerts than worship services.

The first seeker sensitive church in the Bible is in Exodus 32. (When the people saw how long it was taking Moses to come back down the mountain, they gathered around Aaron. “Come on,” they said, “make us some gods who can lead us.”….. This is exactly what seeker sensitive churches are all about. Give the congregation the exciting kind of Jesus they want. Pastors see how excited and involved their sheep become if they titillate their sheep’s flesh. Of course that is how pastors stay popular and Idolized. But what is the Lord’s mind and heart towards these kind of churches? (Then the LORD said, “I have seen how stubborn and rebellious these people are. Now leave me alone so my fierce anger can blaze against them, and I will destroy them.)
That story always bothered me a lot. You have a group of people who just saw miracle after miracle: the plagues of Egypt, the death of the firstborn of Egypt, the splitting of the Red Sea, God in a whirlwind, and yet they turn their backs on God almost instantly. I think I would at least have some fear of a God who did all that. If nothing else, if I couldn't be grateful, I would at least fear God, literally. How is it even possible that they chose to make a new god?
This is one of the stories that really influenced me to be an atheist back when I was an atheist.

@@MooJoo I get what you are saying. I agree we all fall short, and usually pretty easily. The thing is, though, that Peter was in a hostile crowd. He wasn't prepared for what he was seeing. The Israelites were out in the wilderness alone. Nobody was going to hurt them if they remained loyal to God. And they had seen big miracles on a national scale. They had seen God in the whirlwind and the sea parting. That's not saying that Jesus's miracles weren't as impressive, but they were mostly on a personal scale, or seen and understood by only a few. Even the feeding of the crowds wasn't really understood by the average person there because they were just passing around baskets. They didn't understand that there wasn't enough food initially. That's why I say they are different.
@@brianmoore581 I see what you're saying, but we have to remember that these people had been living under Egyptian rule for hundreds of years by then. Human nature is we fall back to what we know, right? I too think it's horrible, thinking how they were so quick to build a golden calf to worship; but with Moses being gone for 40 days and nights must have seemed to them like a lifetime and that he wasn't coming back. They were used to pagan idols so they fell right back into what they knew.
And when reading Exodus 32-33, we see that not all the people participated. I think it's just a good reminder of 'only by the grace of God go I...'
The list of churches that Jesus is going to have something against grows ever larger than just those 5.
I just came across your channel. I very much agree with everything you said. If I had been in that church and saw how disrespectful those so called pastors were acting I would have walked out. God did not send his Son to die one a cross for our sins just to be mocked in such a disgraceful way 😢 That whole thing just made me feel sick!! They will have to answer for everything when they are down on their knees before our Lord and Savior. I sincerely pray that they realize how wrong and disgusting their behavior was and repent and sincerely turn their hearts to the Lord before it's too late. I used to go to a church like that. I found my wife in a church like that. God via the Word of God woke me up from lots of that dribble even in the baptist churches. My wife has not…. makes life very hard to even govern our household when our doctrine are so different.

A woman who led a house church led me to follow Jesus closely among many hundred of others who gave their lives to Christ because of her obedience.

I remember a time when a pastor would kick the congregations back side verbally with the scriptures. He would warn about sinful behavior and the need for salvation. This reminds me of the late pastor David Wilkerson of Times Square Church. Amazing man of God, preaches on sin and repentance, delivered words of prophecy for our future and filled with the Holy Spirit.

You spoke for twelve minutes....I completely agree. Regarding women in the role of pastor, here is how I explain it. I am reluctant to write, but I am not precluded. Women can preach! (very capable) Women can teach! (most teachers are women). It is not a case of ability/disability. (If it were, men would be out of a job on so many things....). In the situation of teaching/preaching publicly IN THE MIXED CONGREGATION, it is forbidden for women. Not a question of "can they bring it?", they most certainly can. It IS a question of uncompromised obedience. Nothing more. What we have here on earth for 70 to 80 years, is a ROLE. We are expected to carry out our assignments as delineated by The Word of God. This is by no means the 'whole' story. When we ascend, we are neither male nor female (in an earthly sense). We are absolutely equal in value AND role. Sons of The Almighty, the body of Christ and simultaneously, His bride!! You want to spend a few hundred years figuring that out? Or just faithfully obey? Let us choose to obey. P.S.: There is NO compunction against women teaching women, children (they are supposed to), writing articles, books, being professors (and professing) etc.

Why would Paul say in an earlier part of 1 Corinthians that women can prophesy and preach the gospel, but then go on to say that women cannot speak in church at all? Surely there must be more context here? And why would God put Deborah in the position of a leader is it was a sin? Sin doesn't have exceptions, right? So if Deborah was judge over Israel, either God makes excpetion for sin, or there is more to all this than we assume.

The roles became clear after the panoply of sins which Eve and then Adam committed. Their sins were different. Their punishment was meted differently. Read Gen 3:16 and Gen 4:7. Compare the use of

@rambido I do understand what you are saying. However, consider this: Before the Fall, man and woman lived in harmony. It is only after the fall that the curses of the genders, in which man will want to dominate the woman and the woman will want to dominate the man, happened. Why should we then accept this consequence of the Fall? Through Christ, we have overcome the world and its consequences.
It is also seems that your argument links to 1 Timothy 2:13-15. Like the rest of scripture, there is context to it. As you may be aware, in the city of Ephesus, the cult of Artemis was very prominent at that time. The women of this cult did have violent dominion and would have had very damaging things to teach. They believed in female superiority and taught that evil came from man. This is why Paul mentions the creation account. Considering that Artemis is known as the goddess of childbirth, it would also make sense why Paul mentioned childbirth. To have converted from this cult to Christianity, these woman would have A.) not only had very crazy ideas that would be really bad to teach to a congregation, but B.) also would have had a lot of fear concerning childbirth (as unfaithfulness to this cult, and ultimately Artemis, was believed to cause death in childbirth. So not only is Paul addressing these issues, he is also reassuring these women of safety and freedom.
I believe for too long we have examined these texts at face value instead of really studying them. The scriptures, and women, are worth examining the case again.

My parents had a book entitled “Dying testimonies of Saved and Unsaved People” which recounts words of various people on their deathbed. This reminds me of one of the stories in which one man on his deathbed was in extreme agony and claimed he could not repent because he said he had blasphemed the Holy Spirit and one of the things he had done was with some fellow men who all professed atheism was to put the Bible under their feet and grind their shoes over it until it was in shreds to “amuse themselves”. And when it came time for him to die, he felt completely alone and without any drawing or conviction whatsoever. He clutched his chest and lamented, “oh for feeling! I have none! I weep over many things but over this Jesus I cannot shed a tear.”
That is incredibly sad. 😞 Really hurts my heart.
The cultural argument is totally wrong and has been used historically by those who belittle the word of God...as if the omniscient creator had no way of knowing how culture would develop through the ages...No! ...He knew... and that is why he wrote that " these things were written aforetime for your instruction".
