Losi 5t - Cleaning it and talk through!!

My first talk through!!!
I dont normally clean it this much but because i ran it through some mud seen from last video I thought i'd do a quick how to.
When I think about it its not really recommended this way unless you have waterproof servos but I did anyway. Might look like im spraying water on the servos but i am going around them as much as possible.

Thanks for making this video, did you notice any advantages or disadvantages with not running the rear fenders on the truck?

Thanks mate. The main reason I took them off is because I was running hub extenders. The front steering rods rub real bad up against inside the front wheels so I thought extenders would fix that problem. In doing so , because I fitted the extenders all round, it pushed the rear wheels up against the guards with these particular tyres. I didnt see any advantage other then you can fit any wheel/tyre combo you want. I did also like the look of it for a while... :)

Thanks for the reply, I recently installed a set of Proline Trenchers on my 5T, which are a bit larger than the stock ones, which were already slightly rubbing, I think I'll run my truck without the fenders for now and see how it goes, I like the way it looks as well.

are you covering the carb too or just the air filter? Does hitting the electronics and servos not hurt them? Thanks.

just air filter but you can do carb too if ya want. I normally spray degreaser and hose it off anyway. I do try not to spray too much water on electronics and servos but a little doesn't seem to hurt them much... guess it depends on what servos you have and how water tight the receiver/battery box is...

Hi what's the brace you got from clutch to throttle thanks

Clutch to throttle servo? That's just a homemade mesh plate. When you jump these things you dont want to mess up the mesh on centre gear and pinion or could be costly. Brand names like Vertigo, TLR, Bartolone and Turtle Racing make some nice ones but you have to buy the clutch housing to suit.
