      just a heads up you can use Duplicolor vinyl and fabric dashboard carpet spray paint to color match the dash, it's super easy to use and evens out all the color on my dash after sugaru.

    My dash was cracking so I tried this stuff out and it was amazing. I used the edge of the packet to keep cracks clear and neat as well as to texture the sugru by poking it and tapping it down lightly with my finger tip. The dash looks almost perfect now and it’s held up well. I would definitely check this stuff out

    Just Vlad - thanks for the tip man - this stuff works a treat - used on my 370 Z dash to fix little hairline cracks that appear - they would open up when its hot and close again once car cooled down - pretty weird but anyway matches Z dash colour perfectly (I used the black) and you can no see it at all - again thanks bro.

    My Infiniti FX45 Dash is starting to crack all over the place. Fine long and short cracks, even over the passenger side air bag :o/ This is horrible.
    Please update me, I tried Q Bond, it works well, but the glue leaves it mess :o/ then dries hard and not easy and almost impossible to get off. Thanks for your response.

      @JustVlads  Před 5 lety +2

      So far it's holding up great. The car is sitting in the sun all day and surgu is holding great. The color is a close match, dashboard being a shade darker than the surgu. If I put protectant on everything it shines a bit and all matches great. Try it out I think you will love it and the cleanup is very easy.

    Infiniti extended warranty to 8 years for dash boards on G and FX models due to a premature chemical material breakdown. Apparently they were trying an PVC substitute as it had been banned in Europe. Ask your dealership to file a claim with national Infiniti headquarters. Revanchist12 My 8 1/2 yo G sedan had less than 50k miles at the time when I discovered these cracks but was regularly serviced by the same Infiniti dealership. I would ask your Infiniti Dealer to contact your country’s national Infiniti office or contact directly them yourself. They are all aware of this problem in the G and kept stock, but the agent may try to refuse in order to save money. Be reasonable and persistent by saying you are a loyal customer.

      My G35 is a great car as far as looks and drivability go (at least for the first 3 or 4 years...maybe). But, it is WAY too expensive to be falling apart the way it is. Dash falling to pieces, melting and soft like taffy, interior and exterior trim flaking, peeling and chipping away. And Infiniti saying, "Oh well, not our fault" with repairs. The interior of this "LUXURY" vehicle is GARBAGE. Nissan/Infiniti can F right off.
