It really helps me to stop bugging my husband asking him to remove his car's dashboard and to replace it himself, I got the idea, I am not bugging him anymore with that, thank you for showing what it really means!

Maybe there's a general life lesson here.... Don't bug people at all unless you completely know what you're talking about first? Also why assume that only he could have done this job? Anyone can follow a video and undo some screws and clips.
I'm now on my knees praying that nothing goes wrong behind the dash.

can you reinstall the airbag like that even though it’s exposed? just wondering cause i’m gonna do it on a g35
Yes you can.
Did you have to disconnect the battery so airbags wont deploy?
Yes.
Is the dashboard the same for 2dr and sedan?
If you mean for removal, yes. If you mean if they are identical, I'm not sure.
How long did the removal take?
Around 4 hours.

Better get it reupholstered, it will be cheaper, better looking and the new one will crack again with time.

Is it possible to replace the dash airbag from under the glovebox ?
Yes. Might be a little difficult but it's possible.
@@VIK7ORIOS_WORKSHOP do you have a video on how to remove it from under the glove box and put a new one in? Cause in the video you showed how to disconnect it and what to look for but not how to remove it from the hangers

After I finished, I got a no key fob detected Any ideas?
Maybe you forgot to plug in something, or the key's battery is dead.
@@VIK7ORIOS_WORKSHOP That's what I thought so I took the dash back off and I checked everything
And my key fob still works a thousand feet away from the car it locks it unlocks and it pops the trunk
