Michael Flately (an American) came up with the Riverdance choreography 25 years ago. He spoke many times about breaking away from traditional irish-dancing when he came up with the choreography for both Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. So you see, without that change there would be no 'Riverdance'...

I saw the original production with Jean Butler as the principal dancer. 27 years later she appeared on TV in the UK and still looks the same!

This is just more of the same. Come on guys, it's been 25 years... time to come up with some new choreography with a different story/theme
