No matter who the dancers are, I still love it and we are now 30 years removed from the Eurovision Song Contest. I have both the original version of the show with Michael Flatley and the New York show with Colin Dunne on my video playlist but I'd love to see a new DVD come out with some of the newer generation of dancers. I'm always excited to see, who took over the lead spots and how they made the role their own. I don't expect all the dancers to dance like the originals with one exception. I loved how Michael Flatley literally flew all over the stage and he put so much energy and emotion into his performances. I would like the newer dancers to keep having fun and dance your heart out. That makes the show, even more memorable.. irish dancing can't go back to being the stiff, expressionless excercise that it once was.

This really makes you want to see Colin Dunne and Jean Butler do it properly. Barbie and Ken do some sort of attempt but it’s nowhere close tot a 5/10. Even the music lacks passion and energy. Not everything get’s better over time 😮
This was still good, but I've never seen it done as well as Colin Dunne and Jean Butler and their troupe.
