American engineering is in good hands with these two guys leading the way - along with Gale Banks and I'm sure theres more I don't know about.
After some final retuning my 67g2 spools and runs like a dream sound amazing I can’t wait to get some weight behind my truck. If it preforms half as good as it does unloaded I will be blown away thanks calibrated power!
Two of the best minds in performance diesel trucks right there.
Do you guys have tuning out for the 2021 power stroke?
Nice I'm going to have to order one now!!!
I'm sure that can be arranged Jeff!
@@Duramaxtuner I need a budget friendly tuner, nothing fancy or crazy, just something for when I'm towing and to keep an eye on all my temps, etc.. What would you suggest? Fyi: 06 LLY/LBZ 5" Straight pipe, 4" downpipe, egr and cooler delete with new up pipe, bigger cold and hot side pipes, bigger driver side fuel rail fitting, pcv delete and reroute to a catch can, cat oil filter mod, wix fuel/water separator. Would love to hear back from someone as knowledgeable as you guys.
Anyone know if you can or what it would take to put a 2020 or 2021 f350 transmission on a 2011
What is the best turbo for my 08 duramax
Need this for my 2021 Cummins.
Are you planning on doing the same for the 2020 and up PowerStroke?
We hope to in the future when hardware support is available. For now we have a 2020 Tremor that’s been running tune-only for months. It’s a tough machine.
Nice.
I am interested in the new 3.0 1500 baby durramax! Do you think there will be turbo chargers or any performance mods for the 3.0 Durramax! Great info. Guys thanks👍
need tuning support first
We are all waiting on software support for these 3.0s. Hang tight!
Is there or will there be a compound kit compatible with stock turbo and a 475 or something over top?
Possibly. We have had a few requests for a setup like that.
Just installed 67mm stealth on 2018 L5P. Also installed intake horn with 67mm anti surge ring. It is still surging periodically. I’ve been watching the Edge and it doesn’t seem to be a tuning issue with the turbo boost or vanes all of a sudden closing. Also it is extremely slow off the line now. Any info towards this would be appreciated.
Give us a call, 815-568-7920.
can you run thie Stealth with stock injectors or you have to upsize
It absolutely works with stock injectors. If you do decide to go larger in the future your tuner can give you more power.
WF is great stuff!
Amen!
So what turbo would be best for me? I have a 2012 lml with stock gearing and 37s. I’m looking at a 64mm cause I don’t want to go too crazy
It really depends on how you drive your truck and your future goals with the LML. Do you daily drive and tow? How do you use your diesel?
@@Duramaxtuner I would be happy with 650-700hp. I just want reliability and power. I tow occasionally and never very heavy. Maybe 8k at most. I’m just afraid of the turbo surge as you mention in your videos. I’m really big on taking care of all the components on my truck and getting the most out of them
@@man-a9857 The 64 is a slam dunk for low-mid 600’s. With your big tire and lack of gear we’d hesitate to recommend a 67 - especially on a truck that tows or experiences much high altitude operation. Does this help?
@@Duramaxtuner absolutely! I thought the 64 would be a good choice but I wanted to confirm. I’m not at very high altitude, about 1400ft at most
I have the edge evo ht2 tuner. Will I need further tuning if I install this or will the power levels be the same as the pre loaded tunes? ex: extreme tune 150hp
Hi, we do not recommend using a box tuner with the Stealth 67G2.
Wc looks glazed
What kinda power does it make in stock tuning?
Stock power. The stock truck is fuel limited, the tuned truck is air limited.
Could i put a 67mm gt2 turbo in my 19 l5p with the banks intake and full delete but no other upgrades. Would it make sense???
You'd need custom tuning.
I'm running a 2017 l5p durmax ...with banks derringer tuner . Can I run the stealth turbo in a non deleted truck and what are the pros and cons of doing so ?
Yes! We have the turbo installed on our emissions-equipped 2020 Duramax and it runs flawlessly.
What kind of power these units making with the 6spd and what’s the plan for the doc since it’s a restriction?
The 2020+ Duramaxs are now 10 speeds
@@TKSavz And?
@@Icutmetal it’s completely different because you now add 4 more gears that’s all I’m saying
@@TKSavz And it’s irrelevant to the question. That’s all I’m saying.
I added this turbo to my 18 3500 with SOTF. I will randomly get a P0299 code. I've cleaned the MAF and Air filter. Doesn't sound like it has a boost leak either.
Give us a call, 815-568-7920 so we can diag for you.
Do you have the original version with the 15mm cage?
If so have them rework it to the 12mm unit. I had the same problem and it eventually burnt up the turbine. Low boost equals heat. They took care of it.
Can you program the tcm in 2021 yet?
No, but we do offer a 10-speed shift kit.
Do you plan on making a stealth 64 for the l5P?
There’s a possibility, nothing in stone yet.
The irony of towing a Dodge with a Duramax is beautiful.
It’s the simple thing’s
yeah that's the same ram that out pulled Chevy and Ford in the tuned tow test oh the irony it's kind of like hoisting the ram up in the air and giving them a parade lap
Whats stronger 2022 L5P or 2022 cummins?
Cummins will fold a durashit
@@jesus14k53 keep dreaming.
I love the 10 speed. You couldn't pay me to trade for anything else.
We love it too. Takes people time to come around to change usually.
Question, I have a 2021 GMC 6.6 Duramax and on deceleration or coasting to a red light or off the highway I hear a loader than normal "tick", I wouldn't quite call it a knock but it seems loader that it should for a brand new diesel. Have yall noticed anything like this?
Are you monitoring MAD?
Not in this video unfortunately, but that’s a smart idea. I’m running a CTS on this truck. I need to build a Calc PID and add it to the data logs. Thanks Balduf!
@@Duramaxtuner I'm sure Gale would hook you guys up with a data monster.
What does DOC stand for?
Diesel Oxidation Catalyst. Just Google it.

Why wont you guys do a sound test
Plenty of ads with sound clips.
@Duramaxtuner not dedicated sound clips.
A gooseneck trailer and a Ram. He says it’s fully loaded, likely is for a GM.
Put a 38' goose neck loaded with fats behind it, then you will be testing it.
you realize they're towing in the video lol
@@michaelratcliff4440 LOL I know they are towing a pickup and that's not much of a towing weight for that truck. Working on a farm or ranch moving equipment & cattle is a lot different than towing a damn Dodge pickup! Comparing apples to oranges....
Nick,
You have a gazillion dollars. What truck you buying?
Used Honda Ridgeline jk
Always had a soft spot for the Cummins. Preferably fueled by the defunked uncle of electronic injection, the VP. 4 speed auto with Laramie interior. Only if I could get it in Brown, though.
@duramaxtuner. I have one for ya, exact truck just not brown lol
1st!
Wondering if you can help me with a couple questions.
The worst function from new GM transmissions his how much they slip
I mentioned this issue to the dealer and they said its to get longevity out of the tranny. 500,000+ miles. With that being said a tune can fix that and the max torque take off button comes in handy.
