Been to Morocco a few times on the bike ,I love it ,the people are so friendly far more so than anywhere in Europe , will be back again later this year , would love to travel the length of Africa as you are doing , good luck , will be following your trip

Hi Harvey, i am just going to re watch this series again, i i am currently reading Lois Pryce's book red tape and white knuckles, about her Motorbike trip through Africa to cape town, and nice to be able to put a bit of color perspective into her book, its a great read if you have not read it, All the best for 2019 and what ever adventures you plan on going on. In Morocco ppl would help u no matter what ur religion they one of the best ppl on earth and even the food there it’s really good can’t wait to visit it again

I Note that everyone here says be safe. Either because of their lack of knowledge of Morocco and its inhabitants or because of their ignorance. Here is some information that may help you in the future and erase the fear of your fear. First, Morocco is a very safe country, a tourist country with distinction visited by about 50 million tourists a year. The people of Morocco are ethnically diverse, people known to help strangers and cooperative. Moroccan intelligence depends on it, even European countries to confront the dangers and terrorist threats. Morocco has four seasons in one day, the south is hot, the north is rainy, the atlas is icy and cold, and the center is moderate. Its terrain varies from region to region. Morocco has different dialects from one state to another. The official language in Morocco is the Moroccan dialect. Moroccans generally speak more than two languages. For example, in the north, most of them are fluent in Spanish and French in the center, French and English in the east, as well as in the French and English in the south. There is no need to fear in Morocco even if you do not have money or overnight you can always rely on Moroccans. Don't be shy if you need to eat or stay and don't have money. Just ask people a lot of them will agree to help. The mentality of Moroccans differs from that of Europeans in terms of helping or sheltering a stranger for free. This is what distinguishes globally expatriate generosity

Hi there... Where did you go? from Morocco to where? I plan on riding from Egypt to South Africa in 2021. I just finished Miami, Florida to Thailand -- 30,000km ride. I have to admit, I'm a bit unnerved about Africa -- but got to do it. Would be interested on your travel map on where you went...
