    Been recommending your channel to BMW and Horizons Unlimited friends. I say it's that killer sense of humor and good nature will get you through in fine shape. Another round-the-world friend agrees with me that nothing gets you a better travel experience in strange places than a quick smile (with glances behind you, too). Vouchsafe.

    Just watched your last Africa installment, and had I known, you could have popped over to Cape Point (20 mins from Banjul) for a beer, as Im having a weeks R&R (5* hotel styley) after my multistrada spill in Morocco last October, which Jambo reported. Anyway, safe travels chap, and mind those pot holes.

    Awesome adventure! Welcome to 3rd world, full of "surprises" ("good surprises" and "not so good surprises")! Jaja...
    My advise (you probably are doing it already): keep your family informed about the route you take day by day, just in case a phone call to the embassy "unlock" you from typical situations in 3rd world... i´m from Argentina, i know a little about corruption problems sadly...
    Keep smiling! Ride safe!

    Great context mate. Just wanted to give you a couple tips to add some extra spice to the vids. I think it would be good if you could bring up a map while explaining your location - just to give your viewers the sense of scale on your journey. Also would be interesting to see pictures of you visiting the sites while you’re talking over them - don’t think we’re after 100% video clips all the time. Just my two cents 👌

    Harvey my hat goes off to you what a trip this is, you certainly know your stuff i am probably twice your age and i think i would have just caved in and payed what they asked for in fear of something happening but you stood your ground well done.
    The places you are visiting are totally brilliant and i really envy what you are doing, i think it was your Ireland visit when you bought your Varadero when i told you that you inspired me to do a road trip, well we are just around our country ha ha nothing on your scale, take care ride safe and i will look forward to your next video, Kind Regards Mark....

    • @beebeer
      @beebeer Před 6 lety

      I used to work in W. Africa and had to argue every time I'd go through a road block to and from work! In Nigeria because of frequent power cuts you'd need a generator, the only way NEPA (electric Co.) would allow us to have one was if it went through their meter! So we ended up paying for a generator+fuel and then had to pay NEPA for the electric we generated!

    Absolutely awesome! I had the same issue in Central America with border guards/people in general at the border seeing a gringo coming and just thinking they can make up fees, charges or whatever. Usually I’m smiley and friendly too, but it soon wears thin and I learned to toughen up too! All part of the adventure.

    Very brave ride, hats off to you.
    Be careful with the sealer on the gas tank, seen a lot of problems of it braking
    off and causing big problems down the road.
    Better to carry extra gaskets.
    Which tank did you get by the way?

    • @TwoWheelReview
      @TwoWheelReview  Před 6 lety

      IMS Products 12.5L Adventure tank, working well so far no fuel leak issues since senegal, currently in Benin

    when you are applying visa in foreign country you have to give your passport to the embassy,right? and it will take 2-3(approx) days to get the visa. so how do you travel this 2-3 days without a passport in a foreign country?
