How is it with the safety in some country's. I mean mali is a pretty dangerous country. In the netherland we have 3 danger codes , green, orange and red. Most of Mali is red.

Really amazing journey but why I learnt in Europe that as soon as two bars appear I'm to look for petrol. Never ran out.

Hi HarveyWhy did you chose the standard CRF250 over the rally version?
All the Rally really offered me was a little longer travel suspension and a wind screen, I was able to increase the tank range on the standard CRF250L with the IMS tanks 12.5 Tank, thus I couldn't justify the extra money and I wanted as much airflow as possible for the humid climates :D
Great video. I'm highly jealous of you having the time to do this trip but did you really ride all the way down the Moroccan coast without stopping to go surfing?

Portable battery pack and usb charger on bike
PLEASE keep ALWAYS some gas separate, at least 2Liters or half a gallon, never touch it if you dont really have to. This could be really a shit situation in a sandstorm when pushing the bike :/

Running out of gas was completely my fault, I was low and decided to skip petrol stations, silly me haha :D

Wrong tires should have got Continental TKC80's.
