      Hey we've got some good news for you then, we've recently just updated the systems to a new version of Android, (Android 12.0) and the screen itself has been upgraded to a QLED, internally they have more RAM, and ROM as well as more Cores for the processor, take a look here: www.iceboxauto.com/iba-vauxhall-entertainment-systems#/specFilters=2!#-!152!-#!4!#-!88!-#!6!#-!649

    Hi just came across your video,just want to know if the backup camera will work on this fantastic headunit

    • @iceboxauto
      @iceboxauto  Před rokem

      If it's the original reverse camera, it may need swapping over to an aftermarket one, we do provide a free reverse camera in the box with the unit just in case, it connects into the system via RCA cables in the back, so yes it will support a reverse camera, just depends on if it's gonna work with the original.

    Can you help with this for the Insignina OPC 2010 with Infinity System (OPC + SPORT Button cant be without)

    • @iceboxauto
      @iceboxauto  Před rokem

      Hi, this system should work with the Infinity Sound system for your year of car, it doesn't work with the BOSE which is a later version, the OPC and Sport buttons would be lost with this system unfortunately, do you mind sending us a picture of your car's dash to admin@iceboxauto.com so we can take a look and confirm?

    What do you do about the eco button?

    • @iceboxauto
      @iceboxauto  Před rokem

      With this system you would lose that functionality, an RBT system we have might be more what you'd want: www.iceboxauto.com/vauxhall-opel-insignia-2008-13-gps-navi-android-10-oem-style-radio-vx019

    Nice, would this be compatible on my 2015 Insignia SRi, I think I currently have the R400 unit with cd player

    • @iceboxauto
      @iceboxauto  Před rokem +1

      So the system works in car with or without the Navi so you're covered there, only thing is it will not power the BOSE amplifier, so if you check your front door speakers for any writing, that should give you the answer, another thing is if you've got the ECO buttons or the VXR/SPORTS buttons anything like that, usually they're lost with the system also.

    • @allancunningham9844
      @allancunningham9844 Před rokem

      Thanks for that, I do have the ECO button but never works anyway so losing that is no probs, I actually emailed your company yesterday about upgrading but still waiting to hear back, im in Scotland but can always arrange a roadtrip, thnx again

    Can you hide the bar at the bottom of the screen or at least make it take up less space? And is split screen possible? If so, how many apps simultaneously max?

    • @iceboxauto
      @iceboxauto  Před 5 měsíci +1

      Unfortunately the bar is there to stay, you can however split screen on the Android OS Side for certain applications, I believe there are two slots for Split Screening on this unit

      I believe so, do you mind sending a picture of your car's dahs to admin@iceboxauto.com so we can double-check this, I think we installed one into a Cascada not too long ago, so we've definitely installed something into one before

    ok looks good but where is the ECO button gone?

    • @iceboxauto
      @iceboxauto  Před 9 měsíci

      Hi, so with this system you either lose the eco button, or we've had some people re-located it either into the glove box, or down by the 12v lighter socket, if you're handy it's possible to keep, but with just the system, no altercations you lose the button
