Hi all, here's a Tesla Style system we installed for the Vauxhall Insignia last Friday.
This is one of our best systems, and with the newly added option to preserve the ECO button, with our THV range, you're not missing out on anything if you go for this system.
This unit fits the 2008-13 Insignia, without the Infinity Sound or the original Navigation.
This is an Android 13.0 OS unit, meaning you've got access to the Google Play Store to download applications onto the system, allowing you to choose your choice of Maps, Music Apps and more, all accessible on the unit.
It's also got built-in Wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto allowing you to pair your phone up to the system, to allow for increased communication between your phone's everyday applications and the new screen.

Yes, that and the Buick and the Holden also if you're American or Aussie, the Eco button has a slot for either LHD or RHD, so there's no worries there

how did you sort the apower for the arial, I dont seem to be able to get any radio stations, figured it was a powered system

HI Mick, on powered antennas, we use a method by bringing the antenna wire to 12v line of the android loom. If you need some precise info, drop us an email at [e-mail].

Can it do splitscreen with for example youtube and maps? (On the normal interface, not android auto)

I believe so, it should be possible, although there are limitations on specific applications that can be opened at the same time, so while yes it is possible to split screen, specifically CZcams and Maps, i would have to check on by powering up a unit and checking myself

I got a unit installed by a car audio install company, its not exactly the same one but similar. Its capable of split screen but the a/c temperature part of the screen keeps glitching. The right front speaker has almost no sound and there is this very present white noise sound starting from when the volume is set to 1.. also the actual car settings app keeps crashing... steering wheel controls are not always responsive.. is the unit faulty maybe? I would probably suggest the wiring over the unit in all honest, as for the wheel controls, that would be canbus related, which coincidentally would also be why the temperature controls are glitching also, possibly need either a new canbus or to check the connection into it, as for the speakers, that would be either because the AUX port in the car, the speakers may be unrelated, although I will say if you've got the infinity sound system, it's possible the amp is struggling to power them and the radio at the same time, which is why we usually avoid selling these screens in those versions of the car

It would be wiring related, or do you have the BOSE speakers in the car?

Yes I have infinity subs and amp in my model and think that's the issue 😢

That will be the issue, we wouldn't sell these items to a car with the BOSE in, unless you were prepared to replace the amplifier inside the car, or bypass it all together

Wherever you got it from, should really state about the BOSE speakers/amplifier setup and the issues that can crop up attempting to install one of these
