At last - someone who speaks slowly and clearly ! thank you. I am a (very) mature student doing a BA Hons in Textiles in the UK. I am learning how to do spot repeat patterns etc for textiles...

WOW. Even though I had been using PSE9 for many years and now have PSE14, I learned 5 new things in this tutorial. However what is best about this video is how you clearly and concisely breakdown and illustrate each step. That is what makes your videos an excellent learning tool for the newbie/beginner as well as the more experienced PSE user. I do not think there is anyone who makes PSE tutorials better than you that are informative to so many different levels of PSE users within any given tutorial of yours.

Thank you once again. As always happens with your tutorials: BEFORE I think I'll watch the video just as a review, AFTER I realize I've learned at least 10 new tips!!

Just so happens I have been working much with selections in these last few weeks but did not know about these basic rules of selections! Ah Ha! I learned something new today and now yet another obstacle is removed from my errors and correction is made to my to my knowledge base! Thank you again Rick for taking something that may seem obvious to many but is really not known to most who are using this program, have a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you and your family!
    I appreciate all you do!
    Rich

Hi Rick! Nice video! i have a question: is it possible to copy paste or duplicate a selection while the original selection stays and just a duplicated identical selection of it would be pasted (Im talking about the selcetion only not what it is selecting) excatly like when we duplicate an object with move tool using option key (Mac) and make an identical, but for a selection in this regards?
    Thank you for your consideration!

Hi Rick, I am converting from Apeture and trying to decide on Elements or Lightroom. Which one would you recommend?
