Photoshop Elements: Content Aware Move Tool

  • The Content-Aware Move Tool in Photoshop Elements can move people and objects around in your photo.
It not only moves stuff but then it fills in the area where the object was originally. Plus the Content-Aware Move Tool blends the item into its new position.
It does an amazing job but sometimes you need to go in and do a little touchup with the Clone Stamp Tool. Check out my tutorial for using the Clone Stamp Tool in Photoshop Elements:

Rick, excellent tutorial. I’m new to element. I love your teaching style; how you illustrate the tool use and provide detail instructions on implementing and why you selected that tool. Thank you for being an patient and detailed instructor.

Another good video. I'm trying to go through all of your videos because I am learning so much. I currently use Elements 11. Besides the Content Aware Tool are there other new tools that make it sensible to upgrade to Elements 12 or 13?

Control H, not Control D to get rid of selection outline around flamingo? Is that because it was 'the content aware' tool and not the other 'selection family'?

+Jim Loader The Content-Aware Move tool wasn't introduced until PSE 12, so it's not available in PSE 10.
