Ensoniq Fizmo - 1 Sound

- For some days I've got a Ensoniq Fizmo in my studio. From scratch i created a new sound with help of Sounddiver. In this demo you listen live played Fizmo pure .. it means without any external help only this sound.
The Pad includes 3 Transwave OSC and a simple Sinus OSC. From internal FX comes delays and eq.
Transwave also you can description as Wavetable like in the Waldorf Microwave. Waldorf brings more parameters for the waves, but definitely sounds another. Fizmo can sounding fantastic ... of course not only in living pads.

I got one a few months ago and love it. I usually hate presets but it's a very hypnotizing synth and this and the SD1 probably have the most presets I ever liked. There seems to be a weird group of people that get all butthurt about people loving this synth. I've gotten a weird amount of trolling from Fizmo haters.
Fizmo sounds otherworldly... excellent for ambient! :) Thanks for sharing this demo, its very soothing.
It still holds it's own sonic space when compared to newer synths, very good design.
seems to habit a unique space between the FS1r and the Hydrasynth, while being its own instrument altogether

I'd love to add a vfx to my sq80 but I suspect the fizmo is even better, especially if you were lucky enough to find the table top version, which is rarer than a rocking horses output!
@Platinenduft :-) Ja, der Fizmo ist schon ein nettes Ding. Man muss aber wirklich auch die Transwaves und die Modulationsmöglichkeiten nutzen um die Stärken zu finden. Leider hatte ich den Fizmo nur zur Leihe.
Guess I will be trolling the music go round. I wish some programmer would create a functional soft synth of these Ensoniq keyboards.

Doubt he would be able to. As an owner of this machine I can say that most of the best sounds created on it just sort of spring from the ether. This easily the most wild and unpredictable synth in my collection. It has a mind of it's own.
Could it be said that the Fizmo is essentially a fancified VFX?
