My Mi a1 phone just arrived yesterday and it has been great so far. The only complain I have is the front facing camera. Do you think software upgrades can fix this? The primary camera is pretty decent.
Absolute 13 Try using different camera apps for selfies. I use retrica and in good lighting it produces some good selfies. The front camera should have been atleast 8 MP
Athul Paul I know right. The front facing camera is the only part that pulls it down from being a premium phone...for the budget. Thank you I'll download the app and try it out.

Try rooting your phone and install ported google camera. Most amazing results comparable to top tiers phone.

All xiaomi phones seem to have that bad audio quality problem when recording.

I think is a balanced smartphone and if you install de google's camera application you get better pics with more detail. Is true, de quality of video stability is very poor and is almost impossible record a good video.

I actually own one android phone under the androidone project and i could say, they deliver the updates as promised... And performance would just depend on the hardware, myncheap androidone phone holds up to date, i ise it as my trap phone lmao
