A 3080 or 3090 is good, because you can take advantage of the 240hz and high resolution. 32gb of ram, core i7 or core i9

Hello ! when to wait for 2k 360 hz?
I just spent almost 5k on a gaming computer for my daughter and was hoping to see how you actually hooked up the monitor to the computer? It appears to have multiple HDMI ports and the Geforce 3080 TI has a few inputs as well. I specifically bought this monitor because it was Geforce Ultimate compatible and just wanted to make sure I hooked it up properly to get the best output available. Wasn't sure if I hooked up one HDMI cable between computer and monitor if for some reason I needed to hook up two?
In most cases, you should use the DisplayPort connection of the monitor instead of HDMI. DisplayPort 1.4 has a higher throughput than HDMI 2.0. G-Sync will only be compatible with the DisplayPort as well, as it is unsupported on HDMI 2.0.

Do you get 240hz from the HDMI or do you need the display port?
HDMI only goes up to 60hz bandwidth wise. you will need Display Ports.

Debating getting this after having used an LG OLED CX 48 for like 8 months... its overwhelming at times with the size on my desk.
I'm afraid of being disappointed going from OLED to IPS
try it. if you don't like the alienware, return it or downgrade your tv to the c2 :)

@@lucorodrigues I actually got the qd-oled alienware monitor the 34 inch ultrawide, and I use the AW2721D as a secondary monitor. Both are great monitors, but side by side you can see just how much better OLED anything is compared to IPS.
If you can go for the alienware QD-OLED monitor

At this moment, I'm undecided about whether to buy a 25-inch or a 27-inch monitor, but the price difference is significant do you guys think there's a noticeable difference between 25 and 27 inches? (i have a 27 one)
The 25 inch has more ppi than the 27 inch(because the density of pixels will be better on smaller panels). It only matters how close you want to stay to the monitor so you dont notice the pixels.

hello, i bought this monitor and when i go to NVIDIA control panel i can only use 144 hz. How can i switch it to 240hz??
might need a better graphics card or cpu since that is the only how far your pc can go.

I am awaiting delivery of this for my Xbox series X as want to be able to get 1440p 120hz a lot of people saying it’s an overkill for series x however my thought process was I’m happy with 1440p at 120 hz and got it for £550 So a very good price. Im coming from a 4 year old 60hz 4K TN monitor with no HDR do you feel this will be a nice upgrade.
