    I have 2 high refresh rate "G-Sync compatible" monitors and while that's what they are marketed as, still in the Nvidia control panel they are listed as "not validated". Enabling the VRR on them works but what I've noticed is for games that I can run at a consistent high fps, things are really smooth but in other games where the fps can be a bit variable, small consistent jitters or stuttering is noticeable and while not game breaking it is a bit annoying. I was thinking about switching back to a monitor with a G-Sync module and it is however kind of disappointing that there aren't many choices (currently) if you're looking for 1440p & 240Hz but considering the range of games I play, I'm thinking this would be better than my current "G-Sync" compatible displays that may or may not ever get validated in the Nvidia driver software.

    No integrated speakers on any monitor ever !!!! Stop listing missing speakers as a negative point. 1) Integrated speakers cannot ever sound good because of physics. 2)It increases the monitors size 3)It inflates the monitors cost. One can afford some decent speakers if one can afford this monitor.

    As always, HIGHLY impressed with the level of quality in your deliverance in this video.
    As always, HIGHLY confused as to why you dont have more subs... mind-blowing when you take into account quality of many other reviewers' content (not a slate on others, just a compliment to you)
    And, to top it off, i finally know what monitor i am going to invest in. It has been tough deciding on a 1440p, high refresh rate monitor WITH GSYNC MODULE... that has a clearly outstanding performance (refresh/ghosting etc...). This review helped alot.

    Hi, i bought AW2721D 2 months ago. After about a hour I noticed that color temperature on AW2721D a little bit change. Right after turning on, the white color is greyish (warm), but after a hour white screen is cool and colors become more saturated. It seems to me to, that screen brightness is a little bit higher after hour. I use factory preset mode Sport/Variable backlight Mode - 0. It is normal or something is wrong with my AW2721D? The differences are not big, but they are noticeable.

    My laptop is Alienware M15 R5 (Ryzen 7-5800H/16GB/1TB/GeForce RTX 3060). Am I 2k capable? The games that I am playing are in the category of Mass Effect, Prey, Diablo και League of Legends (i know that in this particular 2k won't be a problem) and I really like movies-series so HDR is a big bonus for me (the reason that I want 27'' in the first place). If I can, I am between Alienware AW2721D and Samsung's Odyssey G7 Curved Gaming Monitor 27" QHD 240Hz. Have a question - I have an xbox 1 - yes the old one that looks like a battered engine from the 50's and a 27" Samsung TV and i still melt people on Rebirth 400 wins now :-) but it's time to go big, Series X ( not a pc fan, sorry lads and ladies ) but I want to switch to a monitor. I've looked at multiple reviews on multiple monitors, asus, benQ, acer even thought about the LG OLED 48 as a monitor but a step up with oled and more inches would most likely hurt my eyes. Do I get 2.1 port monitor for the xbox, do I get the same monitor as Shroud or JoeWo, do i need a 2.1 Monitor do I get 140hz, 170hz, 240hz i honestly have no clue now. I just want something that will last 5 years and that will go well with the new xbox series x... Sorry for long winded message but this is where i am.....completely out of my comfort zone.

    • @techlessYT
      @techlessYT  Před 2 lety +1

      Oversaturation does not apply to applications that support color management (Photoshop and such) if you're using a proper ICC profile. Games will look oversaturated, but some might argue that even looks better or might give you a competitive advantage.
      If the anime is on your hard drive you can use a video player that supports color management (like MPCHC) to avoid oversaturation.

White peripherals aren't my thing, so I went with 2 AW2521HF's instead... 25 inches isn't bad, but I'd much prefer this or even the 32inch Curved Alienware Monitors, except it's in only in white... After some advice and apologies in advance, I am thick so this tech stuff goes over my head a bit so please dumb down answers and make them as plain as possible!! I have a Razerblade 14 laptop. It has a AMD Ryzen 9, 5900 with a Geforce 3070.
    No idea what any of that really means, but I want a gaming monitor to play fast FPS games like the new COD on. I like this one, but I am concerned that it won't work properly (or certainly to its full potential) due to not having a proper display port (deduced on my reading from reviews etc). Can someone tell me in short, whether this monitor would work to its full potential if it was connected by a USB C or normal USB port? I feel like the answer may be no and therefore it not be worth buying as People keep saying something about a thunder port which my laptop sadly does not have. I am massively confused and out of my depth with all this stuff so if someone could clarify I would be massively grateful as my reading and video watching only seems to confuse me further. Its all like another language.🤣
