That bit about the muffler had me seriously laughing!! “sounds good though”😂😂 In addition to that, I really like the ice/snow storm videos that you put out brother! I have watched them all numerous times, over and over again! I have been patiently waiting for the next one to hit my notification-feed! Keep gettin’ after it brother!
@@DLHFarms you are very welcome brother! We want to keep you lifted-up however we can, Lord knows you have kept us lifted-up with your good nature/personality/work through your channel! We are thankful for what you do to support all those around you!
One of the first videos I watched was you delivering wood, You were concerned about getting back up the hill after dumping because of how wet it was. You needed a little help getting back up the hill, but it made a very entertaining video.
Loved the video Dennis. Always a good day when you post a new video and 2 within a couple days is a bonus. I have a Maggie too she only weighs 11 pounds though lol.
Y'all can get within a tenth of an inch with the dozer blade but dump wood through a man's door. Sounds like you need to put GPS on old green truck, Dennis.
Yes it has good breaks. You may may need to up grade the front pads they make small a large for it, got mine from Napa, make sure you get the large the other important thing is the drum brakes on the back need to be adjusted very often probably every 500 miles. Make sure the rear pads are in good shape and have plenty of pad on them by looking trough the inspection holes also make sure the rear seals arnt leaking oil into the rear drums. The pedal should feel firm and not spongy. If it’s spongy you could have air in the system that needs to be bled mine gets air in it on its own sometimes, or the master cylinder is bad or has air in it. Also if the brake light in the dash is on and the park brake isn’t set the diverter valve could be switched to the front or rear if you have blown a break line, it’s a safety feature. The diverter is on the back of the front frame cross member. Also if it’s pulling to one side in the front sometimes those rubber hoses from the frame to the caliper go bad internally or the calipers is stuck. It’s also confusing in this way, if it pulls to the left the right side has a problem. If it pulls to the right the left side has a problem. Hope this helps.
@@DLHFarms it has a new vacuum booster, master cylinder, pads are recent front and rear, rear brakes adjusted, lines bled and it still won't lock up the rear wheels under hard pedal pressure
I’m looking at a single rear wheel 83 k20 flat bed with steak sides and flatbed also dumps. I want to use it for firewood also but am concerned about overloading it. Not sure if it’s mostly hard wood or softwood by you but your truck seems to be handling that load very well. It’s all hardwood by me and the 83 also has air bags to help with the load. Thanks for the video. Do you ever feel that you overload your truck?
@@briananderson6758 I only do hardwood. Yes the truck is overloaded but it has air bags and has been taking the abuse for years and years with no problems.
6 scoops of wood per load for $140 here in Kansas City that would be over $500. I just bought a “cord”of kiln dried oak and a 1/4 “cord” of hickory and it was $700. The so called cords here aren’t 4’X 4’X8’ it’s more like 3’X 3’X 6’ it’s so misleading! It’s a face cord I guess……wish I could get a couple loads of your wood!
Keep the old girl on the road. Classic old work truck. 💪🏻
Like the video Denis and old truck too .
Thanks!

Thats, a heck of a deal at $140 for that load of wood delivered.....local guys around here would have charged 200-300 minimum .....great video
Old Green 💚 Definitely deserves to be fixed up again. Nice to see it highlighted here. Fun camera angles too.
Thanks sis!
Enjoyed the video! As many have already said, they never get old and were always looking for the next one. Keep them coming!
More to come!
Loved the story about the old green truck
Thanks!
Never a dull moment for you Dennis, love the truck square body 383 stroker 👍🏻
Thanks 👍
No new mufflers…just straight pipe ole green truck.
Those mountain roads would make her sound real gooood😂
It's part of your life so don't give up on it
Great video Dennis. Never fails people always have to have wood on the crappiest days!
Yep
All five rescue's are in the house. They also let us in once in awhile.
Haha
Wow, I never get tired of seeing what Dennis is up to. Can't believe 2 videos on the same day. Keep them coming. Thanks for sharing!
Haha I got a wild hair.
Good Ole green truck getting er done!!
Thank you for another great video
Thanks for watching!
My sister's outdoor wood stove will take up to 4' (48") logs. Our indoor wood stove connected to our NG house furnace system takes 2' (24") logs.
It’s crazy all the different sizes people request
You guys are into a little bit of everything, I’m impressed 😮
Yes we are haha
Nice old truck. I like the old Chevrolets.
Same here!
Great video Dennis. Looks like Bryan has been pretty busy splitting wood.
Yes, thanks

I remember that day well haha
Always a pleasure to watch your videos. Price seems a little low for wood but I know it varies place to place
Thanks 👍
Big fan of these ride a longs.
Awesome

Haha that’s a little dog. I had a beagle named Jack but he got out and got ran over a couple weeks ago. He was my buddy
@@DLHFarms Sorry to hear about Jack.
Your Dynomax Performance Exhaust turned into an Amplimax Sonic Exhaust :D
Haha!
Good video.
Thanks!
Dennis, that was brilliant to watch. Your wireless mic setup is fantastic. I can hear you as clear as day. Is that anew 360 camera you have ?👍😊
I wondered if anyone would notice the new 360 haha! Thanks for watching!

Bahaha
Hey I was just trying to help him out by dumping it closer to the stove
@@DLHFarms That GPS can help you out both ways. Next time use it to put the wood IN the stove.
I've always loved the snowplow and firewood videos.. maybe cause I'm a West Virginia boy.✌️👍🙏🙏
Right on!
What camera and microphone set up do you use? It works great. We enjoy your videos
I’m using a DJI wireless mic set up and a GoPro 9 and a Insta360 x3 for B roll.
A sleeper wood truck! 383 stroked!
Haha kinda
Too heavy to go fast haha
👍👍🔥👍👍
Up here in the mountains of Colorado local guys charge $500/chord. Most likely a face chord bc you don't get much.
Dang
Put Purple Horny’s on it they sound awesome and there not over priced
could you show a little more of your basset lab we also had one he looked like a basset and all black very smart and mom dog his name was wally
Maybe so
U have a green truck and it has a hot rod mufler on it
How many cords of wood truck hold
It only holds about 2/3 to 3/4 of a cord
Good morning Dennis, I wanted to see if Ararat,Va. Kibler Valley to be exact is in your delivery area?
Yeah I can run down there. I’ve delivered down there before. I normally add like 10 bucks for little extra gas money.
Sweet old k20. Question; does the stock K20 brakes safely stop that weight? My K20 has a steel flatbed and the factory brakes can't handle it

I finally had enough and put a 1 ton hydro boost on my 79 K20. We retained the 3/4 ton master cylinder. Now it stops with ease
You been getting alot of snow storms like the rest of the country.
No snow at all, lots of rain. Grr I want a good snow
Think of a pellet machine for pellet stoves from saw dust
That would be cool and thought about this a long time ago but couldn’t figure out a good way to do it.
Horse stalls
How much is a truck load of wood?
140
Is this a 1 ton truck?
No it’s a K20. 3/4 ton

140 for a cord to cheep
It’s not quite a cord, it’s about 2/3 to 3/4 of a cord. Still plenty cheap but that’s the market here.
$140 for a cord split and delivered? I’d take that all day, you don’t deliver to Oklahoma do you? 😂
I can ship it too you Ups one stick at a time. Haha

Nor'West NC. That $140 a load would have been about $400. And not even stacked.
Geez. It only holds about 2/3 to 3/4 of a cord
Runs $250 to $300 a seasoned cord in Ct , which is never really dry. That’s why I cut my own wood.
Would you ever trade your skid steer in on a mini telehandler. Wheel drive with crab steer.
Trade no, add yes possibly.
Nice load, we load with a bobcat T650, into a 1988 Ford F-250 with a Pierce Dump kit🚜🪵🇺🇸
Nice 👍
