Splittin' firewood in the bed of the truck 😁 you absolute legend! Buckin' I want you to know that I just chatted with a neighbor of mine today who lives up the road, we never really talked much but met when we were both walking our dogs today. And as it turns out, we *both* watch your videos. The Buckin' Army is at least two strong in our quaint town of 450! God Bless brother, and I hope all is well in your World!
Howdy Buckin, I have about 4 tree jobs lined up this week down here in KY thanks to your tips, tricks, wisdom, and just good vibes showing me the way. Love ya, brother!
Your style comes from a lifetime of swinging an axe! There is no substitute for hours and hours of use! Having grown up as a cook, and chef, i'm like that with a blade! What comes natural to you, takes a lot of practise for others!
Today I gave myself reason to feel good about my self. I tackled some projects that I waited on far too long, tightened up a squeaky power steering belt and patched an exhaust leak. You are right when you say "action = gratitude" Love, Andrewski✊🌲
Buckin ya caught a gear here brother! Great to see👍 Put a little downstairs he says😅 I donno about that but I did take a lady for a road trip through B.C. And picked some pitch on a hike. Left it on the dash of my truck to her sha-grin. But when we came back from a swim and that pitch had sat in the sun on the dash and we opened the doors I swear her mood had swung even more in my favour 🎶
My luck I would have a flyer from one of the halves fly up and bust out my rear window. Have used your tips twice now in the past month to get a fall to go up hill of the lean, you're the wealth of knowledge
Bucking it's great to see your function coming back strong, I think a lot of people are afraid of spraining their wrist when they do the flick I am like you it's the best way to make the wood go flying you just have to know when to let up on the grip on the handle you never master anything by not trying. You sending that guy that pitch if he puts it on he might be like John Travolta in that old movie he did called Michael where he was an angel that came to earth, everywhere he went he put off a heavenly scent that the women loved women would follow him like puppies lol have a great Sunday love ya brother.
That's some soft wood their. You ain't doing those light swings down in Florida on this Live Oak and splitting it. Love the channel and your knowledge on saws and timber. Hope for a fast recovery on that shoulder brother!!!
I just got my first bit of land here in Kentucky at 30 and I'm learning everything tree and firewood and axe related from this channel. Wish I could split logs like this, you make it look so easy man! I dunno if it's my maul not being sharp enough or technique I've just not gotten figured out but I'm trying to sort it.
I really wish we could use axes like this to split firewood in Australia, we have to use big block splitters, our Aussie hardwoods is where our firewood market is, and the stuff is like concrete compared to these softwoods !! The way this timber just pops when you wack it with the axe buckin, makes my joints cry in envy !
your woods are definitely different . altho it makes me wonder why back in the day you guys made some of the best axes. we are evolving arnt we. thx buddy
