I think he might be in the dlc because we the tarnished might have ended up absorbing him and have to go on some kind of quest to remove him from ourselves.

I think they atleast should have kept the weapon art for the serpent hunter, but instead choose to nerf it and make it the most useless weapon after this fight.
I even raised it to maximum level because I though it would have great scaling.

@@sharkuel thinking you would be able to keep a melee weapon with the length of a fucking tower in a gimmick boss fight is pretty Neanderthal brain in of itself, however levelling that spear might have actually been a decent idea depending on the build you are using. Its really good for multiclasses and magic users due to the lack of attribute requirements meaning anyone can use it at full effectiveness
The spear is a really good weapon for multiclasses and non melee builds that need to use melee (perhaps enemy is resistant to magic) due to the lack of any attribute requirements, it doesn't need the insane length anywhere else but this fight as it is already half decent in of itself
Its sure as hell not meta but it definitely fits with any other weapon. Its not useless at all
@@Lopeped-Cring is it really that bad of idea to allow it to keeps its ranged attack atleast in its ash of war, with its wind up it should be amazingly easy to dodge so without range it makes it almost impossible to hit anyone with its ash of war, so it would have balance(they also could reduce its range). Also I have to agree its not completely useless but the fact that it has a useless ash of war puts it at a disadvantage over most weapons in the game.
@@mementomori4602 one does not always need an ash of war on their weapon when they have another weapon or shield in their other hand with the ash of war to use
Spears ash of war is useless but imo the other factors more than make up for it, especially when you can just use an ash of war from another piece of equipment that can be seen as better than an alternative heavy attack

Ngl, Soul fans are probably one of the most annoying fandoms out there, they just keep backseating and get pissed at the players who don't do what they want.
This boss literally hands you an easy means of cheesing it, but I'm still annoyed Connor managed to beat it.

Can not believe he struggled with this boss Rykard is so easy. One the easiest optional bosses in Elden Ring. That guy is just as easy as Radahon.
