Yeah he can. I fight against him with Blasphemous Blade and he parried almost every time my special attack.

I had way more trouble with this than Malenia. Once you learn how to dodge the anime attack she is piss easy.

The effort you'd have to put in to master moves like her summon attack and waterfowl dance as well as play around her random animation/stagger break is way higher than any other boss in ER or even the whole Dark Souls Franchise (idk bout Bloodborne or Sekiro tho).
@@nitrondersaftige3807 The thing is, its really hard to draw a comparison between this boss and the other bosses from soulsborne games, because the games themselves are extremely different. Elden ring offers you so many overpowered options like summons, bleed, rot, spells... to deal with bosses, meanwhile in a game like Bloodborne all you really have are bestblood pellets and fire/bolt paper against bosses that are week to it.
Someone who used Mimic Tear and Rivers of Blood may find Malenia to be supereasy, meanwhile the dude playing with a pure strenght build without summons will have the hardest time of his life. Can we say that the first dude isn't playing Elden Ring properly or that he is cheating? Well not really, if anything its the second dude that's making his life a lot harder by not using the tools that the game provides. This is what happens when you give a game an insane amount of customization.
Her summon attack isn't that bad honestly, especially since it won't even oneshot you unless you get hit multiple times.
The entire fights revolves around waterfowl dance, superbroken and supercheesy oneshot attack. It took me about 40 tries to beat her once i figured out that i could just block the first 2 dashes with the shield and roll away from the last 2 sets, and i almost killed her on my 6th attempt just because she forgot to do that move until she has 10hps left.
Everything else in her moveset is extremely intuitive and telegraphed and can be dodged by simply panic rolling towards her.
There isnt much to master about her poise, she basically staggers every other hit, however you should not be playing too aggressively against her since if you happen to trade with her you will lose every single time due to her healing: so jump attacks for strenght weapon and 2 hits from dex weapons until stagger is the best approach.
I personally dealt with her with no summons, lvl 130 and 2 bleed basic scimitars 55 dex and 25 arcane, something like that. I definitely had a favourable broken build (which i didn't even know about since i went blind on my first playthrough, infact i am experimenting with other stuff now, coz it made eveything a bit too easy for my taste), but that doesn't change my point that the entire fight revolves around that one attack, and having bleed didn't make it easier to dodge it, infact, at least 30 of those 40 deaths were to waterfowl dance

Colossal weapons are cool but they are frustratingly slow. This is why I have both a colossal weapon AND a heavy straight sword, specifically for fights like this.
They made the colossal weapons a bit faster, so now they're actually viable
Maliketh's sword is the only colossal weapon I see as amazing this fight
I was able to beat radagon with a colossal weapon
Then I got to the eldenbeast and I eventually got mad enough to summon a mimic and tag team

Actually with colossal swords if you do the jumping attack that shi is fast enough were you don't have to trade
Also jump attacks make you go low to ground bent over
So the boss swings won't be able to hit You while you in the animation
That's not just exclusive to Radagon either. There's been a bunch of times a jump attack made me duck an attack. The hitboxes in this are actually really good!

Get 24 faith and use Lord's Divine Protection, alongside the +2 anti-sacred-damage ring that you find in the Period Lakes of Mogh. It makes dealing with the beam spam of the Elden Beast SO. MUCH. EASIER.
The only two times I managed to solo the final bosses I had Lord's Divine Protection.

I gotta say the only boss that genuinely gave me a hard time and pissed me off to no end was Malenia, every other boss including this one and the elden beast was an awesome spectacle that while getting shat on multiple times still made me actually happy that I actually decided to buy elden ring. And yes I used summons, cuz fuck playing without them, that's for the pros and the dark souls fans. :P
Elden Beast sucks. A 2 phase Radagon fight would have been much better. But I get what you mean. The learning process for these bosses can be fun and rewarding. For Malenia, it's grueling and the opposite of fun. You get killed so fast that it's hard to learn anything. Oh and Waterfowl Dance is just bullshit. I know you can use Vow of the Indomitable on a good shield to safely tank it or interrupt it completely with freeze pots but for most, it's instant death the moment she reaches 60% HP. When you actually learn how to fight her, it's more fun but the process is just awful. Malenia was designed to induce rage quits. She honestly teters on "unfair" territory.

6:13 welllll... Bleed build, an actual weapon that's faster than a radahn weapon, which is as slow as pot cannon (upgraded to +24 or +9). BLACK KNIVE. Malaketh blade. Actually having to pre buff before you fight to boost def and damage. A good summon, like Black Knife tiche or mimic +10. Good accessories.
I had to learn the hard way that Black Knife actually does damage And heals both bosses at the same time, lol I was doing a double dagger run and ended up using my Reduvia as my primary and won within 3 tries

@@Mutanturok yes. Godskin stitcher +25 flame enchantment with varre's skill (I forgot) does better damage. Used it on radagon ng+6 and it helps a lot.

I actually traded up to a larger weapon for Placidusax. I was using the Holy Moonlight Blade but switched to Maliketh's. That weapon art was pretty good against him along with the life steal.
I use godslayer sword(colossal sword) to beat the entire game and don't understand what you're talking about.
