@@dudebro9825 currently running a 18’ fiberglass canoe loaded with one other person and 3 dozen decoys and all our gear, using a 55’ # endura max trolling motor and it’s definitely faster than paddling but even with that I’ve still been wanting a boat with a mud motor. Looking to get family into it too though so idk which way I need to go for boat yet, these have been on my list for a while
Its a very easy way to add camoflage to the boat thats removable and repairable. That netting will last... most of a season with the dog and me getting in and out. Took it out on the maiden voyage today, held up to 75mph on the highway
@@dudebro9825 that’s what I’m talking about!!! Do you plan on putting another type of motor on it other then the trolling motor? Do you have a door system or just leaving the main cabin open?
@@TrueSouthernWaterfowlers A lot of the areas that I hunt have gas motor restrictions, so for now it will be electric, but if I can find a small 5hp-ish long tail for it ill buy it just to have it. It has a roll up system on it right now that i pull over me, after season im gonna make a flip foreward door that will cover up the foot bed, strong enough to keep the dog gear and decoys on top of it, but simple enough to be usable. what I wish I did was save the beat to death lay out blind that I had (GHG Ground Force) for the doors and figured out how to mount those for doors
Looks perfect to me.
Several coors lights are such a versatile tool. Find a way to use them on almost all of my projects
How much power does your electrical motor put out? and how long operating time do you get from a battery charge?
Awesome video man! How’s that electric motor push the boat? Been using a canoe and looking for something different
Motor pushes a lot better than paddling or walking, but leave early haha

Mud boats are great! I've had 2, this set up just works for me better
I’ve seen vid on here of guy who put a 5-7hp mud skipper on his beaver tail final attack
Does the final attack have a drain plug or a way to drain water if some gets in?
It does not, I just take a large sponge and soak it up that way.
It's gonna get water in it regardless, what I bring in, the dog, rain ect
Very cool. Will this guarantee a limit of mergs?
And mudhens. Spoonies if you do a super good job
Why did you put wood on it? Great video wanna get this boat but been looking on how to do a better blind then what beaver tail offers!!!

Not included in the video. There will be eyelets screwed into the wood for bungee cords so you add reeds and what not to match your surroundings
rule never one dont have sharp objects poking out...... i mean i feel you if it works for you.... but aye o
Rule number 2. Spell check.
Keep in mind you would have to want to hurt yourself on these. See part of video that mentions "unless you go nuts"
Hahahahah🍻🍻🍺
