I REALLY respect & appreciate you preaching the PFD. The waterfowl industry related to boats fails the hunters, especially younger hunters, by not pushing them.
The end of the season is always bittersweet. I’m ready for a weekend of sleeping in and doing some house work, but in about a month I’ll be missing it and making contraptions that I’ll try out next season.
Same, I was done done with this season. However, yesterday we got a 4 man limit! And went out with a bang! Got a couple geese with it as well. Makes it a bittersweet season.

I have those motion deek system and love it. I also rigged up the line to a fishing reel mounted on a cut off ice jigging rod and it works perfectly.

I appreciate you share your ideas with us before and after the hunt. I am in Southwest Florida so we don't get the same types of birds as you do but some of your stuff may be a good addition to the equipment list. I hunt out of a small Gheenoe and am wondering how that beavertail motor would work on it. Thanks for a good season and look forward to what's next.
Your last hunt was like my last hunt. We didn’t see anything. The night before we hunted my buddy caught three kids poaching shooting ducks by moonlight. We have a private timber hole and probably 95% of the ducks left after that. Already looking forward to next season and to more of your and the flyways collective guy’s videos during the off season.
I just order a beavertail 1200 stealth and I can’t wait to get it ready for next duck season here in California

Great advice as those spreaders are money! 🔥 (However, we make our own.) We also put other decoys around the spreader so the ripples from it create motion in the other decoys. 👍

Who else came here to watch hunting and even though there wasn’t much hunting, they still found this entertaining
I have heard they find people who get in over their heads with waders on with feet sticking up. Guess with a PFD it might keep your head up and could back stroke
to shallows. I field tested it friday in waist deep water chasing a cripple I tripped and really struggled to get my feet under me .
Excited for the season review. I have been thinking about stealth 2000 or the attack. What were some of the reasons you went with the attack?
I got one of those boats, but have yet to take it out. The seat solves so many issues I saw with the boat. I will have to get to making one.

Top speed? And does it go through mud/pads good?
I have the same boat, can’t find the blind cover for it, any advice?
Also, those wheels suck...I bought larger wheels that attach and detach easily from the back with two pins, makes wheeling it in and out of terrain so much easier....til next season

I guess the real question is...would it be rougher on you during your hunt having to maneuver that boat with the wheels on or is it rougher on you loading and unloading without the wheels 🤔
Where did you get the coated cable? I need to swap the thin string out from mine
This was from a lifetime jerk rig. You can go to a hardware store and get some cable and crimps. Should be pretty easy to make
