correct! i invented this decades ago in sweden and is very surprised it spread over the world. the invisible straight stich. what you are doing wrong here is that you never "bar" the top holes because if you do a knot there it will knit on the inside and make it very hard to un-knot. ALWAYS finish with the string inside outwards in the top holes to avoid using scissors to get your boots off after a wet night out after 25 beers. at the time i had to make a windows paint sketch how to do this. amazing how small the world is. enjoy the lacing! Do even know what the fuck a skin head is? Not all skinheads are racist most are actually anti-racist and there's even a skinhead group called S.H.A.R.P, (skin heads against racial prejudice.) Many skinheads like reggae music too. The Neo-Nazis are only a tiny part of skinhead culture which wasn't really prominent till the mid 80s and many skinheads completely reject them.

@@freya1508 yes red laces means Nazi or you've participated in a lynching (also sometimes commies where red laces as well and they can also mean you're a fighter or have committed a homicide but usually it's a Nazi thing) white laces means white supremacists and my apologies for my harshness I have skinhead friends and one of them got attacked due to the ignorance around skinhead culture so I get a little passionate when I see people referring to skins as racists

If you need a ten minute video to lace a pair of boots, then maybe you should be wearing those trainers with the velcro straps. Just tie a knot in the end of the lace and stitch it all the way up, as we have been doing for decades
