All impressive builds, the Hellcat is quite nice. Looking at your upcoming builds it will be interesting to see how you meet the challenges a much larger kit demands. I have only built the old Monogram 1/48, B17 and B24. Those took a lot longer to adjust to detailing and surface area. The war game characters look excellent and must have required different paints and a lot of time. The ground in have now is learning these new multi level paint schemes. Especially the weathering materials and panel liners. My " old" technique was primarily out of the box building, and I am feeling some pressure to change the style I enjoyed to one I am not familiar with. Cheers, Bob
Wonderful builds you have there. Thanks for showing them. The Hellcat has a great finish, as does the Kingfisher. The motorcycle looks like you shrunk down a real one to 1/12 scale!
I’ve been watching your channel… The P-51 AIR RACER IS REALLY NICE, different from what everyone else does !!! You’re very CREATIVE and TALENTED… I like to build VINTAGE REVELL, MONOGRAM, AIRFIX…. Kits Sometimes TAMIYA and other plastic model manufacturers I can tell you’re having FUN… You have my LIKE 👍 CHRIS from OHIO 🇺🇸
Nice esoteric collection for this video Deon. I was especially impressed by the paintwork on the two wargame models. The huge amount of color variation on those must have taken a long time to accomplish. One of the cooler aspects of this hobby as you get more experienced is being able to see what you can do with older kits. Yes, they do require more work at times to bring up to current standards, especially if they need a lot of accurizing / detailing, but if tackled in a manner that doesn't require you to complete the build quickly, they can be quite rewarding and satisfying builds. That's what I really love about this hobby. It has room for all experience levels, it gives you a vehicle to learn and improve your skills, it allows you a great variety of subject matter as well as ways you can approach a particular build. By this last bit, I mean you can slam one together quickly as a mojo restoration build, or you can spend a considerable amount of effort over a long period super detailing a kit. And if you are looking for a place to practice finishing techniques, the modern kits (especially Tamiya and Eduard, but really, most new kits) give you an easy to assemble, nicely detailed, great starting point that can be ready for painting and weathering in short order.
Hand painted decals on the large P51, even more awesome!
thanks so much for making this video. very interesting and a great standard of build. well done!
Jagdtiger. And need to glue those left tracks down
That Hellcat looked so good, awesome job!👍😊

I am a Messerschmitt fan. Nice 109! There were so many variations of that aircraft. Plenty to replicate.
P51s awesome!
I love the variety of kits you build, always something interesting. For me, the Liberator and Reno stand out - but they're all good.
I too built that Yamaha virago motorcycle. I owned the actual bike and built that model. It was so detailed and required a lot of work and painting
The realism of your paint work is very good and its hard to get that right.
Beautiful Kingfisher and motorcycle. I also like the way you do freestyle schemes.
Thanks
Really enjoyed seeing your best models. Loved your wargame work.
The ME 109 looked nice.
Thanks for showing your models. A great collection. 😊
Some fab looking kits, how did you get the mirror-like finish on the motorcycle parts?
