  • Today I went a famous food street in Kochi known as Mahatma Gandhi Road for looking some street food. After arriving, I ended up in a shop that was named CZcams so I figured I had to check out. I ended up purchasing a new shirt from there after loving the material used to make it. After that I went on to stroll around the streets. After some time, I realized that since Kochi is so spread out probably would have been better to have a guide, but normally I prefer to stroll on my own and see things off the beaten path. While strolling around, I came across a good spot to pick up some fresh juices to cool myself down.
Shortly after, it was time to get something to eat. So I ended up going over to a famous spot to try a Kolkata roll. I loved the Kolkata roll there! I also decided to try the cheeku shake from the same place, this is the first time I tried the cheeku shake and it tasted amazing.

The best time to visit kerala and the southern part of India is during Nov-Feb.. Mid March - End of May is the summer time and better to avoid being out during the day time.. there are some highlands like Munnar and Wayanad will be cooler or try some tourist places like Kovalam, Varkala beaches…

The thing that surprises me the most throughout your travels in various countries is the fact how many people speak English. You hear often from other CZcamsrs that they have issues getting around due to language barriers, and you obviously have to expect that not everyone speaks English. As a traveller, you are the one that should speak their language and can’t expect them to speak yours. Still, I see in your vlogs so many people actually trying to communicate. It speaks for the friendliness and the welcoming attitude of the people and the country they’re in. Awesome !!!

@@darthashpie3370 Actually Kerala and Whole of western coast of South has a different climatic zones than rest of South India... Tamilanadu, Andra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telengana is so much hotter, dry and humid than Kerala...
It is true that Kerala and whole of South India has no winter months like Northern India except higher altitude areas, but climate of may to February in Kerala is the perfect time with less temperature and less humidity where's May to September the sun can be extremely harsh in northern India and whole of South that's the difference...
Even in March to Mid of May which is consider to be the hottest months in Kerala the temperature in most part of Kerala hardly goes above 35°C and in Kochi it mostly stays in below 30°C you can google the 10day weather forecast of Kochi... Also in the peak summer we recive a huge amount of summer rain That's why there's less water shortage and looks green everywhere...
All are unnecessary Infos but just saying the facts...
Now coming back to your original comment the temperature during his visit in Kochi was 24°C to 30°C Max temperature and yes the humidity is very high but it can get worse if you stay in indoor with only fan 😂 so going out is a good option than staying inside

Mac since you are in India and it's hot, I would also suggest that you buy cotton shirts or t-shirts because that's a better option for wearing in humid places. Lol while you were walking on MG road there were places where I saw a place where it's mentioned Homely meals- these are basically family run local business where families would cook breakfast, lunch mostly and serve. Most locals from Kerala who are looking for food that's hygienic and economical go for it. I wish you could have gone into such place and tried the traditional Kerala breakfast or lunch. Anyway Kathi rolls ( Kolkata rolls ) are famous and found in all metro cities of India and although it's a street food I find it more hygienic and we won't get Deli Beli eating those. In Mumbai a street food chain known as Tibbs Frankie is good for these rolls. I really wish you could have just asked any local CZcamsr from Kochi area to hangout with and go around to guide you.

As a staunch veg i dont know much about bong non - veg. I have heard of khasha mangso ( mutton curry) & their fish currys. For biriyani they r all raving for Arsalan at Park - circus.
Try puchkas , love the potato / chana mix with coriander leaves in them. Also eat the chanachur from those Nehru topi guys at victoria memorial.
Try the misti doi from Ganguram , their sandesh is good but balram & radharam mullick have more varieties. Dont miss kheer kadam's.
