I suggest a flywheel on the rear wheel for uniform power. The initial toque will not be much but the trip will be longer and more reliable. A downhill air pump added would rejuvenate the tank pressure to great levels, almost like a free charge between air-pump stations.

Thus, the dwindling "dry air" pressure in tank #2- will be re .charged by such "motorcycle engine"...

You can use a compressed air motor, with a regulator. A gearbox will improve starting torque.
