    It's like one of those scientist a 100 years ago saying:It's impossible to fly to the moon!The amount of energy needed and the size of the rocket is as large as the Empire state bldg.Their perception of "Basic physics" then and now, it totally different.So, you saying that this concept is "impossible" because it's basic physics,shows how of an 'inside of the box'-way of thinking people sometimes have.Science never stops and say:this is it, it's absolute, there is no more change.It always changes

    100% clean energy, but next step is to find a mechanism to provide continuous supply of pressurised air (atmosphere air would be cheap & easy), and to work on a more efficient air release system to minimise air loss/leakage..

    Looking good ! How much is the pressure in the two cylinders ? Are they the same like for scuba diving with 200 bar pressure ? I like the idea. If the compressor is powered from solarpanels it would be very ecofriendly. The power coming from the solarpanel would power the compressor directly, without batteries between.

    What amount of energy/cost does it take to drive the 5.3 km. If you double the tanks, what is the new range, is there a linear decrease with the added weight?

    Congratulation for you two, Gentlemen. Its realy big contribution for tommorow mobilization way, this video amaze me much cause I tought this prototype produced power from some complicated combution proceses :D...Its Wonderfull very inspiring. But something makes me more amazed about it is when I was watching you taking a race without any BRAKE!!! Haha...:D Good luck.

    Nice design -- good speed but look how the size of the tanks are for just 5km! Hope this can be worked out to a more efficient working vehicle!

    Super construction - speed is also good for a bicycle system, a bit short range - and what is the pressure in the tanks? I think a lot.

    The car works only on Air without any combustion ( gas or fuel ). The idea was to reduce the gas emissions & heat produced from fuel cars. Moreover, when air decompressed and exist from the muffler of the car is cold

    But at least the coal power planets that runs the compressor is somewhere far from the urban cities. Therefore, heat & emissions produced are not near to us.

    You might be able to do some cool stuff with a sterling engine to do compression on the fly with heat from the sun or fire from a renewable waste material from agriculture.

      2dive tanks a 3500 to 150 psi regulator and a Gast air motor or similar. Sling it all,on a gocart or push bike done. So what, expensive inefficient and no way to improve it.

      I find air power fascinating and I was thinking about adding a tank filled with hot water to prevent icing and help expand the air and perhaps sodium hydroxide pellets could be a light option to keep the water on temperature.

    add a on board air compressor and car battery and alternator to run it and lights an u can drive all day

    It is 100% clean energy (atmospheric air pressure) , the pressurized air is reduced from three thousand psi to 100 psi through an air regulator. and about the engine there is no internal combustion or any kind of fossil fuel used. thanks for your comment

    Where did you take this compressor or descompressor from ? What kind is this engine ?

      It's a GAST air motor. 100's on Ebay. Same motor used by most of these nitwits for their air bike/buggy/trike projects. Couple of other manufacturers are Tonson and Hurco. And forget about it range and performance is pitiful and due to basic physics always will be

      Were you able to find anymore info i think this is the fastest and longest range pneumatic engine I've seen on youtube.

      @@AIuminum No nothing, that pneumatic engine makes that vehicle so fast.. All the other air powered vehicles I've seen are super slow or its the old piston set up like an old steam powered train.. Love to purchase an engine like the one they used & put it in a newer motorcycle

      @@AIuminum I hadn't seen any air engines from MDI but there is a start up company in Australia with an awesome air engine prototype, they don't manufacture the engine yet but their looking for investors
