How much pressure is required in air tank? can any mechanism be developed to control air flow via accelarator cable and modifying the carburetor?
yes you could add a simple ball valve to to the handle and have it open close with a motorcycle throttle handle, or run it to a foot valve
how long can it be diven? with full of compresed air cylinder that you have

If this engine produces 2.5 bhp with 8 bar pressure then its really a commendable job. But I doubt it.
And please tell me how did you managed to decrease the clearance between the piston and cylinder.

If you compress the air with solar or wind power than it's not a big issue that heat gets lost but it would be nice if that heat could be captured in something you take along just to give some power when needed and then avoid freezing when the air fast expands(recently I thought about exothermic sodium hydroxide + water) I wonder if expansion without icing in warm climates is possible when you drive continuously at low speed.
Nice work guys have you thought of terning three alternators useing too to for powering a onboard air compressor an on to power the drive train or even a resproked starter motor both are fun

bro.. hav u changed or ultered cam shaft because its not comming by change gear arrengement.. do i hav to try still or any other trick is there... ;-)

Even though it is little uncomfortable to fill air at regular interval, still it can cut transportation cost dramatically.

you need a full speed camshaft. your engine is producing power only in the admission cycle. and loosing in the compression.

Yes..MyJigarpatel, but it can be modified by adding air compressor. It'll overcome this problem
For the next project, buy an electric cord of 8m, remove the motor from the compresor, and place it on the chassis, then do the power transmission connections and have fun!!!! I bet ya it will last longer and you will enjoy more avoiding the cable. like playing snake but in real life.

Compressed air is an inefficient way to store energy because compressing the air generates a ton of heat. As the air and tank cools, much of pressure and the energy is lost. You are much better off using the electricity or gasoline used to run the compressor to run the car if efficiency is your goal.

i may be 11 but I'm bout to build that
admirable attempt, but like electric power, commercial transportation of materials will always rely on diesel/gasoline power and will ocean faring ships transporting containers relying on bunker C, or cargo fuel. as for personal transportation once a replacement engine can move 4 220 lbs humans at 60 mph for 3 hours over a varying terrain with upto 6% upslope grades then you will have a viable replacement for a crude oil gasoline powered internal combustion engine...for the moment air power joins electric power as a cute curiosity for greenies to putter around town grocery shopping and not doing any real meaningful replacement transportation

youre still usig a piston engine and loosing lots of air power and have lots of friction. save the envoirement what means that this motor needs loads of ernergy to fill the air tank.
take a turbine instead, one after another. don´t loose to much pressure, take a big turbine, then and smaller one and so on. turbines like from a pneumatic srewdriver. instead of a gearbox you could use a variomatic from a scooter. what you are making is the very oldscool technologie. did you already thought about kinetic energy, too?
