Good review Digger but I think you may have been off a bit with the curving. In real life that fencing is made up of straight sections. That is to say that the horizontal pieces between the posts are straight so to install it correctly you would need to bend it slightly at each vertical post and leave the fence section s between them straight. That's just my thoughts. Cheers, David.
I found the laser cut fences wanted to warp out of shape after painting and where very easily broken by clumsy handling. Just too fragile for my tastes.
hi digger...i'm with you any way we can save money is always a good thing...to get twice the amount for half the money is good in my books...i would do the same as you put the one with more detail up front where people can see it... will you show these on your layout??? thx for sharing...vinny/cuzzzz

I have a loop too so there are obvious advantages to the laser board fence
Yes it's a good idea, but SMS have just brought out the fencing with more detail so it has the three prongs on the top too

Oh that's a shame I used galvanising spray paint and they stood up ok, it's a shame you couldn't use them my friend.

Thanks Vinny, yes I like the laser cut fence for its flexibility, once they are installed I will make a video of them in situ on the layout,.
