#detailing #diorama #modelrailroad #trains #oogaugelayout #modelrailway #walthers A walkaround tour of my layout and the progress so far, lots to see and lots still to do
looks great Digger. The garbage around the buildings look good especially behind those apartment buildings. And of course I love what you have done with the bridge work. The low profile engine buildings are an effective transition to your background skyline. I know what you mean about multi tasks, I am easily distracted. Nice art deco application on the bridge. Well done
Hi Digger, thanks for the tour some impressive buildings the details are amazing did like the manhole cover 👍 little details like that 👍 lots of hard work gone in cheers Al
Nice overview of the layout, like your ideas for the extra corner space you're putting in, a water scene. Look forward to seeing your progress. All the best. Brian.
Digger, your layout is coming along fanatastic.. lots of good scenes for filming and looking forward to the extension with the sea area.. keep up the great work..
Digger, I have always liked the amount of detail that you have added to your layout. It looks great. My only comment is that eveyone drives on the wrong side of the road (ha ha)...John
The layout is looking great Digger. So much detail still to add will keep you occupied for a while yet. I see you have a Revell Bakery too. I'm releasing content on one soon. Stay safe and Happy modelling
Brilliant I've been looking forward to seeing your update. Love your layout buddy. I know what you mean when you said about getting bored with projects. I'm struggling to get a scrap Deltic finished.
Thanks Crabbers. When a project gets too tiresome like that I just stop walk away and find something else, like detailing there's always an area or a building you can do some more to, that prevents me from getting stuck in a rut
Thanks Mystic, it's a product called "browning" it's a rough type of plaster that will go onto a brick wall, before the final coat of plaster, it's only really used on rough brick walls, it'sa not needed to use on plasterboard (drywall)
Your attention to detail is impeccable Digger, loved the layout tour. I’m looking forward to seeing you make this harbor, that’s a great idea for that spot in the corner. Question for ya - do you ever consider using real ballast on your tracks? I think it makes things look so much better, I know I’ve seen people say ‘it’s hard to clean up’ but I’d think a shop vac would suck it right up no problem for if you ever want to move the track. Have a good one Digger I’ll talk to you later 👍🏼🇺🇸🇬🇧😎
Hiya Stretch thank you, im not sure what you mean by real ballast? the stuff i use now is tiny real ballast, and it's fixed in place using dilute pva, it's a mess to move track afterwards but it can be done
Real nice video as always Digger Cheers. PS CBD sucks try some good old Sativa not indica sometimes I watch Jerry's live stream and I'm silent as a mouse mate have a good day
@@DiggerEvans I don't touch any of it because I haven't done any of that stuff in over 24 25 years probably more..... But my wife died a couple years ago she fought cancer for 15 years and I know what works for her have a nice day sir.
@@DiggerEvans stop showing off🤣🤣oh my goodness there ginger snaps 👌 my sisters delivery man loves it when I stay 🤣🤣I also have to buy for a friend across the pond who likes their products.
Nice overview there Digger. Question about weathering your buildings. You mentioned the warehouse would be removed for weathering. Do you have a preference in weathering pre build or post build?
Hiya Mike many thanks my friend, I sometimes do the weathering as I build the kit, but a few have been built and only had a tiny amount if any weathering done, I try them in a few different locations and once ive decided on their position, I like to take them back to the bench for weathering and try to make it suit the location of the building, the big building is near to a main road and a railway line so it will have plenty of road dirt and track dirt on each respective side

Hi Digger good layout update. I like the harbor idea , this should be splendid . Who makes the excavators you have in the junk yard ?
Hiya Jerry thanks my friend the excavator is an atlas model and the magnet excavator is a chinese make from e bay

I wonder if RINGTONS do scale model vans 🤔 my sister orders from them in Yorkshire wish they were here best biscuits 😂
I think they did have a model van at one time, we get Ringtons here each week

Digger it’s amazing how much you’ve got on your layout how big is the shed / layout. Fred
Wow thanks Fred the shed is 16ft by 10ft
@@DiggerEvans slightly bigger than my 8x12 . New kingspan quadcore fitted watch this space the railway shed relives 👌😎☕️
Sounds great Fred. I'm looking forward to seeing it develop my friend
