That cop deserves a raise. That is Protecting and Serving. Amazing job handling a potentially serious situation with an attempt to educate, not dictate. He makes them aware of how they are affecting him and his job, however not belittling anyone or being unfair at all. Every police officer should take notes- this is how a traffic stop should be handled.

If y'all wanna learn about the highway patrol, every district of the highway patrol has at least 5 high performance unmarked cars for motorcycles, and they will catch you they've proven it so far. Also they removed the limitations for pursuing anyone in the state of Florida, THEY CAN HIT YOU AT 100+MPH and they won't get in trouble. Don't run, don't be stupid

Just saying I went to church with an ex traffic cop and he had PTSD hardcore from the accidents he saw. Some cops are real assholes but some are coming from a place where they have legit memories of peeling somebody's kid off asphalt. I see so many of them giving safety pep talks and it always reminds me of that guy I knew.

Sena i have the 50s specifically but any of the newer models that have mesh are what you want. Like the 30k 50s or the two spider models i cant reccomend them enough especially for large groups like this.

State trooper you’re most likely going to be cited, car or motorcycle. This Trooper was honest and cool as hell. Sometimes their hands are tied and have to give out tickets, or impounding, or arrests.
I have a lot of respect for how this officer handled things.

If you watched the full video, the cop was actually a really nice guy, the dude who got pulled over was doing wheelies while speeding, he just wanted to tell the other bikers to not do the same thing and how he had friends who did the same thing and are gone now

From my interactions with police while on the moto, if you're respectful and honest they'll generally cut you a break. I got popped by a lapd motor unit doing double the speed limit, while I was riding my new bike home from the sale. Pulled over, he asked me why I was speeding and I told him I was stoked to be bringing my new bike home. He smiled, said slow down and told me to ride safe. Pulled up to me at the next light and said "oh yea, do you have an m1 endorsement?" I said yes and he rode off. 😂

Some choose to be a little more dangerous than others despite that, the cops pep talk is not gonna change anything, although I appreciate him doing that rather than trying to pin some bullshit on them about how they approached to check on their friend.

If that guy really does have a kid thats actually heartbreaking. Ive heard of 2 fathers now who died doing wheelies on the streets. I’ve never met them myself just heard stories from my grandpa who went on group rides on his Harley. And the guys with the sport bikes always did wheelies and they would speed and shit. And he witnessed two of them die. That’s one of the main reasons he rode a street glide Harley. They are slow and heavy so you can’t do tricks. So if you can’t do it, there won’t be a desire to speed or do a wheelie. And they sound better.
