For real a cop was in front of me once ubstructing traffic an I'm on my Mike I just yell at him HELLO!!!!! MOVE UR CAR!!!!!

This guy was my neighbor, he moved a while back, but I remember my wife calling me saying she couldn’t leave for work cause the cops vehicles were blocking her in. The irony.
I was thinking that the whole time. They were there because he was 'blocking the alley way" with, at most, a foot of the rear of his bike...yet, it's okay for the to roll 3 suburbans deep and just plop right in the middle of the alley.

Perfect example of why people no longer care when cops get hurt
Cops: "We don't know why people hate us"....this is why.
Not only that but the numerous false CDV arrest and other false arrest against men all across this country that happens on a regular basis on behalf of women who lie and cheat on their husbands and boyfriends. The place Department not only allows it to happen but they encourage it and the legal system makes money off of it.
Bingo
They know exactly why people have lost trust in law enforcement. They have just embraced it. Not every cop is this petty and ridiculous but there's enough of them that law abiding citizens are now terrified of the police.
I'm retired law enforcement and this cop is an embarassment.
I’m really glad to hear another officer stating this is wrong.

This is exactly why I have 3 dash cams and lined the time up as perfectly as I could on the cameras. I have one on my speedometer, one on facing through the front window and one on the back, just because if something happens with the police. I got my first after I was driving behind a cop, on the same road I see the cops everyday hiding when I come home off of work and he turned on his lights and called me through the intercom on his vehicle and told me to pullover, I did and asked why he pulled me over and he said I was speeding which was not true, because I come through this way for 2 years straight and they are always hiding, but I refused to sign the ticket and he started threatening me and being aggressive like he was suggesting that he will hurt me and I had to call my Dad, so he can be my witness if this Cop hurts me.
If I knew what I knew now I would have fought the ticket but I was young and didn't know I even had a choice to fight a ticket. I hate the police, they can do anything and get away with it, well I really just get mad thinking about it and I go through the other reason I was unlawfully pulled over and they claimed I had my brights on but when he came to my car he made me put them on, but thankfully another cop pulled up and asked me what was going on and I told him what happened and he let me go and told me I could leave.

Those 8 warning shots to the back was not protection? 🤣
As a former soldier and security officer, I remember one important thing from both my chain of command and my supervisors. Discretion. Even if you identify something that technically violates a policy or law, will initiating confrontation make the situation better and safer? Or will it make it worse? If I see a local in Baghdad tossing firecrackers in the road, those are technically explosives. And we technically have the right to stop him, confiscate the firecrackers, and interrogate him. But in doing so, we have to stop and make ourselves a target and piss off the locals who would otherwise be allies. So discretion dictates that no one cares and we should move on. As a security officer in an ER, I caught a guy lighting up a cigarette in the stairwell before immediately going outside. Technically violating the policy of smoking inside. No one else was in the stairwell. And the smell dissipated after a minute. Could I ask him to leave the property at that point? Absolutely. But why should I? I figured he was just trying to light up before stepping into the wind which would make it hard to light up. He hadn't hurt anyone or caused any actual problems. So why bother confronting him and initiating contact? It wasn't meth. He wasn't a patient. No one was there. I just happened to be on patrol when I caught him. And he walked over to the smoking area as soon as he lit up and walked outside. No point in initiating contact. This is a similar situation. Sure, he technically violated a law (maybe). But no one was blocked. No one was hurt. And it was clear he wasn't trying to leave his bike. He just needed a minute to push it up to his driveway. Why bother initiating any contact? Now the citizen is pissed. And the cop is on a power trip because the biker didn't stroke his ego. Not saying the biker would do this, but what if that ridiculous technical stop turned into a gunfight because the "suspect" flipped out?
Discretion. If initiating contact over something so miniscule will do nothing positive, then move on with your life. I'd even be fine if the cop just said "hey, be careful not to block the alley." And then just got on with his day. This cop just needed to be a dick that day.
God I feel old now, but this is how our cops acted in the 90s/early 00s. If it wasn't an immediate threat or blatant disregard for public harmony, they'd just drive by and give ya a stare...let ya know. Worst thing they could do was call your parents (even when we were above 18) and let them take care of the problem. I think our big problem is the old "it takes village to raise child" doesn't hold up anymore like back then. So now it's just borderline authoritarianism to keep the peace. It's only going to get worse...eventually will lead to factions.
I live in Garland and am a biker. I have had numerous run ins with GPD, especially the gang unit. They seem to think all bikers are criminals. I have even been stopped for doing 5 M.P.H. BELOW the speed limit.....officer saying he wanted to make sure I was OK.

Good cops don’t exist. It’s like saying that some members of MS-13 are “good gang members” cause they’re nice people and have done something nice before. But they’re still a member of a gang and taking part in their terror.
Every single cop at every single agency no matter how small, has had the opportunity to stop another cop from violating someone’s rights or committing an act of violence, and an unfathomably low percentage of them have. And even then, they do it anonymously after the offense has already occurred, instead of stopping and arresting the other cop on site of their crimes like they would with any other fucking citizen committing the same crimes.
There are no good cops. There were 376 cops at Uvalde while children were being killed, representing every single agency in the area, basically a sample size of every type of police agency in America. Which one of those 376 cops was a good cop?

ABOLISH QUALIFIED IMMUNITY
Interesting how it's always the citizen who's "making things difficult" and never the officer.
Now here's the thing. He kept threatening arrest, while denying a supervisor. If he was so sure of himself, why didn't he go straight to the arrest?
Because they're allowed to threaten and lie to extract information. The supreme court has ruled on it. The man should have said nothing and walked into his house.
@@bradsyfert8041 When you think about it though, the more he got the cops to say, the deeper the hole they were digging got. Easy for us behind the keyboard to say what should or should not have happened, we just have to witness what DID happen.
The officer played it smart. He knew it was a bs stop. He pushed, encountered resistance, promptly opted for the citation and left. He knew the arrest was a reach, he is very dangerous as he knows exactly when/how to tread on a person's rights.
Because it was a bogus arrest if he made the arrest. If they could made the arrest these cops would have within minutes there is no grey area.
@@bradsyfert8041 I agree with you about his going into the house. I was stopped one night for speeding which I wasn't doing. I knew the cop and he knew me. I debated with myself about not giving him my drivers license, but I did give it to him. He was a smart mouth type and stuck his foot in his mouth. He left himself wide open with a statement and could not answer the question I asked him. A soon as I asked the question, he could not speak because he knew he had buried himself. I told him he had a choice to write a ticket or forget it. He stood there like a statue unable to speak. Then I said okay, I'm going home, reached out and took my drivers license from his hand and went home. I fully expected for someone to show up at the house, but no one arrived. However, it did not turn out well for him because he couldn't keep his mouth shut. I am not at liberty to say what happened, but I suspect he wished he had never stopped me that night. The result was hilarious but not for him. He never bothered me again.

Right, as someone's dad that's been in the military for years and is now a police officer, he NEVER under any circumstances put someone in a situation that he himself didn't understand, and if there would be a time in the future where he didn't, he'd inform the higher ups and let them know so he'd understand the situation.

Cops aren't required to know the law. If they fuck up someone's life or commit a crime while on duty, they are protected by qualified immunity.
It's almost like they are incentivized not to learn the law because ignorance of the law is a valid defence for a cop (though not for a civilian)

@@HUBABUBA-il8fn Dude had every reason to be disgruntled after being harrassed for no violations.
@@farticles04 First problem is you believe everything you see on You Tube to be an accurate video of what actually transpired. Here are some things for your simple mind to ponder. We are shown a supposed still photo of where the motorcyclist "claims" his MC was, supposedly from the "initial" recording from his body cam. Where is that video, you know the video of him returning home, the initial stop/interaction and the at least 5 minutes that there was just the one Officer there interacting? These videos are posted for one and one reason only. To tell a one sided story and make the Police Appear in a bad light. Next, this was a TRAFFIC STOP, pure and simple. So the Father, (the one posting the video) is an idiot, because Texas Statute 38.02 concerns a Terry Stop and not a Traffic Stop. Next Texas Statutes require the operator of a MV to produce their license to a Police officer, and according to the Statute a Police officer can stop a vehicle to check a persons license to confirm that they have the proper class for the vehicle being driven. Failing to produce your license is an arrestable offense. Next, yes even for a Municipal Code Parking Violation a Police Officer can force the operator/owner to produce their license and issue it to the person with the vehicle. Reference to this is Found in the Texas Administrative Code, and actually in the circumstances in that code actually MANDATE that the parking summons be issued to the operator. So lets see the video starting from him returning home and the initial stop.
@@HUBABUBA-il8fn hehehe we found the triggered son of a cop. Your rant was cute though! Keep it up and maybe some day, someone will care.
@@HUBABUBA-il8fn can't argue with your breakdown of the codes of enforcement. I think you are purposely being obtuse though to the common sense part of the entire interaction.
The officer did not initial travel down the alleyway to enact a traffic stop. His own words were that he was investigating a reported disturbance in the alley. As far as any evidence presented shows, the only one provided was from the owner of the property. There is no contradicting evidence that proves that a moving violation had happened. If the officer had approached and found the vehicle stopped in the driveway protruding into the alley then he can write a ticket for said vehicle. Checking the plates will also give him the identity of the owner. The owner was on his own property and hadn't committed a crime. He is not required to identify himself unless he has been arrested. The fact that at no point in time did the officer assert an arrest after claiming that he could for this and that bolsters the position the owner took and further shows that the evidence presented is more in favor of the proper owner.
If I were presented this case as a juror based solely on the evidence shown I would side with the property owner. This comes off as an officer wanting to know where the MC individuals live and their names. At every possible chance the officer tried to coerce the property owners name, down to the signature on the citation.
I will say this. I believe in the necessity of police officers. The only problem I had with this interaction is the methods used to coerce information. He tried, he may know of this club and they may cause trouble in the community. I don't think cops for the most part go around harassing the average citizen. I think there are cops that do have power trips and abuse that whenever they can when they know they can get away with it.
Could you explain the purpose of a shift supervisor and their role while on duty? I was not aware that when requested that request can be denied. I assumed they were there to assess situations and give guidance. Nobody is perfect and sometimes cops can be mistaken on certain laws. There are a lot of them.
